Magnetic Magazine Recordings’ 15th release welcomes @unam.official and @mutul_ to the label family with their track ‘Cosmic Glue.’

His debut record, a groovy & atmospheric deep house tune called “Cosmic Glue” made in collaboration with Mutul, is stunning. In his own words, it “captures the awe-inspiring vastness of the universe and its intricate, interconnected nature. For me, the song evokes an express the sense of unity between all, reminding that we are all bound together by the invisible threads of existence or cosmic glue.” The track is our fifteenth release, and we’re very excited to be putting into the world today.

ÜNAM describes himself as a magic sound crafter, and the magic is certainly felt in his music. He’s the driving force behind The Magic Sun and hosts a mix series to share his friends’ music with the world. Mutul is one of those artists who has released on the aforementioned label, so it’s nice to see the two team up on a track.

Meet the artist - @mutul_ from Barcelona 🇪🇸
Born in 1990 in a small town on the island of Mallorca, Mateu, artistically called Mutul, since he was a child he had the opportunity to manipulate vinyl records and different musical instruments of his father.
Attracted by hip hop from his earliest adolescence, his interest in electronic music was cultivated when he decided to buy two turntables and a mixer after listening to the album of one of his idols, Richie Hawtin - Closer. In those years he starts using music production software, something that makes him thinking about creating his own music.
Mateu decides to settle in Barcelona. There he began his music production studies and builds his own home studio with different virtual instruments and his first digital synthesizer, Yamaha PSR - 22, with which he decided to use to finish his first releases and give his sound a unique authenticity.
Mutul became fascinated with art in multiple forms and his music developed a more structured and personal groove, with a lens on afro percussion and experimentation with his own vocals during production and composing phases. Eight years in the studio have progressively resulted in a wealth of releases of leading deep and progressive house labels alongside globally established artists within the scene.
Mutul’s style today is between Dub and Deep House and actually going to more tribal and percussive as well as Afro and Downtempo.

RELEASE ALERT 🪄☀️ BAGUALAS DE LUNA 🌙⛰️

We are happy to announce that “Bagualas de Luna” by @mutul_ and @senderobrujo is out now in all platforms @spotify @beatport @applemusic …

@themagicsun.music

Include remixes by @unam.official with @morgan_dope_music and other reinterpretation by @arteforma

Welcome to Bagualas de Luna, an organic electronic EP crafted by Mutul and the talented Argentine musician Sendero Brujo, released under ÜNAM’s label, The Magic Sun. This EP is an exceptional fusion of rhythm, immersive melodies, and folk touches with a solid electronic groove , inviting listeners into a soundscape that is both introspective and deeply connected to nature and dance.

In the original mix, Bagualas de Luna opens with a serene, ambient feel, blending delicate folk-infused melodies with organic textures that create a soothing atmosphere. As the track progresses, it gains rhythmic depth and melodic richness, leading listeners into a trance-like state. It gradually winds down, blending lingering melodies with soft percussion, evoking the timeless beauty of nature and human connection.

The ÜNAM & Morgan Dope remix adds an energetic and pulsating twist, introducing a deeper beat that immediately captivates. It balances the original’s folk-inspired elements with a crisp electronic rhythm, and midway, the remix drifts into a meditative passage bringing a dreamlike quality that invites reflection. The track builds up again with driving percussion and ethereal melodies into explosive dance and emotional end, getting on a high energy that lingers long after the final beat.

In a special touch, the Arteforma “Mystic” remix takes the EP’s depth to another level, layering in ambient textures and downtempo beats that feel like an exploration of mystical and introspective realms. Arteforma weaves a hypnotic vibe that complements the EP’s essence.

This EP is a journey between the earthbound and the ethereal, paying homage to Argentina’s roots with a fresh take on organic electronic music that invites listeners to connect, reflect, and immerse themselves in a soundscape as vast as it is intimate.
