Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate Zaki’s birthday. Hiring out the whole of Flip Out just made sense — full access to the VAR room, bumper cars, and having complete control of the space.

56 kids and 83 adults later, it turned into something really special 🫶❤️

Huge thanks to Flip Out Hounslow for the slush, the pizza, and for taking over the cake cutting (something I really don’t enjoy 😅). Big appreciation as well to the host for keeping everything running smoothly and making everyone feel so welcome.

In a world where community can feel rare, being able to bring this many people together meant more than we can say.
And a massive shout-out to all the SEND parents who came too — your support and presence truly meant everything 🤍

You never truly understand the love, strength, and sacrifice of a mother… until you become one.🤍

This one cracked me up this week 😂

“ I nearly had twins too, mine were 15 months apart.”

Well then you didn't nearly have twins now did you? 😂😅

I appreciate close age gaps and the challenges that come with that, but you didn't nearly have twins.

Tell me in the comments has anyone said anything like this to you? What's the funniest thing that's been said to you 👇🏾 share this post with another twin mama.

Reel and words from @muvaslove 🤍

I’m NGL, NICU awareness month has been a little hard for me. I’ve honestly learned so much and I can’t believe how fortunate we were to have all come home. Although home was all I wanted, when we eventually got home, I didn’t realise how much trauma I had internally. I was going through so much and I had no one that I could relate to. There was a lot of grief there, in terms of birth trauma and longing to have done the things I never got to do. Like be the first one to hold them, be the first one to dress them, witness both of them being born, the list could go one . The guilt I felt and still feel at times is another story in its self. I consider these memories as very private memories. However, I’ve decided to share them because there isn’t enough people like me (black women) talking about the adversities faced during pregnancy. During our NICU stay I couldn’t find no one that looked like me talking about these things, let alone the pictures on the NICU walls.
Which made me feel very much alone. On top of the struggles I faced, mentally coming home I wasn’t prepared for. I honestly thought NICU was baaaad and once I got home I’d be sooo happy! But it was like the worry followed us home. I even bought a saturation machine to check their oxygen whilst asleep. Then came the worry and shame about their milestones. I hated when people asked me questions like are they crawling yet or walking yet etc. I honestly couldn’t speak to anyone about it because I felt like no one would understand. And that’s because our community doesn’t do enough to talk about these things. Also with it being Black Maternal Mental Health week, I can definitely say this experience effected me mentally.

I think more people need to talk about these things so we can have the knowledge to better advocate for ourselves.

-ANYWAY, I am sooo proud of these boys they are my son-shines! They really are the strongest 33weekers I know. I’m so glad they had eachother. Although NICU Is a love hate, verrrrrry much hate thing for me. I am forever grateful as they gave you both what I couldn’t at the time and for that it will always be apart of my ❤️.
