We’ve been told creativity is a "gift" you’re either born with or you’re not.

Rachel Efron is here to bust that myth. 🔨

Creativity isn't a trait—it’s a relationship that needs tending. When we hit a wall at work or in our art, it’s usually because one of these 5 resources of the Creativity Spark is depleted:
1️⃣ Inspiration – Sourcing new fuel.
2️⃣ Courage – Creating even when you’re terrified.
3️⃣ Discipline – Honoring the idea when it arrives.
4️⃣ Rest – Actively clearing space for the new.
5️⃣ Connection – Engaging inward and with others.

Once you identify where you're under-resourced, your magic can finally flourish. 🪄

Ever feel like the harder you try to "solve" a problem, the further the solution gets?

✋In this episode of Create Magic at Work, songwriter and Creativity Coach, Rachel Efron flips the script on what "discipline" actually looks like.

Hint: It’s not about a furrowed brow or 4 AM alarms.

True creativity is a relationship that needs tending, not a task to be checked off a list.

Finishing creative projects isn’t about waiting for the perfect rush of motivation. It’s about learning how to hold yourself when no one is handing you a schedule anymore. When we were students, our days were carved into tiny blocks: English at 9, science at 9:53, lunch at 11:27. That structure wasn’t glamorous, but it gave our brains a rhythm. Then we grew up, became creators, stepped into the world…and suddenly the structure disappeared. At first it felt liberating. Then it started to feel like falling.

This video is a reminder that you can rebuild structure in a way that actually protects your creativity instead of suffocating it. The exercise is simple: list every project living in your head, choose the one that truly matters right now, and sketch a loose three-month rhythm. Not a perfect plan, a home for your ideas to land in so you don’t spend every day asking “what now?”

Discipline isn’t the opposite of creativity. It’s the container that lets it grow.

Try this @muzi.app mission with me. Tell me in the comments what your “one project” is and how you’re structuring your next three months. And if you want more missions that help you crack the code to creativity, they’re all inside Muzi. I’m doing one every day… come back tomorrow for day 16.
