Look out, Humpbacks are on the move.

Let’s talk swim patterns. Most of the 40,000 Humpback whales currently migrating across our NSW coastline often stick to the map and rather shallow waters, while many sharks ride the wild currents. From deep water, freshwater rivers to shallow coastal areas you’ll spot many sharks swaggering whole-of-body movements and whip like tails, except for bull sharks, which are arrow like and swim very straight.

For surfers, understanding and recognising the behaviour of marine animals can enhance their ocean experience and improve safety. It’s often like spotting that one mate in the lineup by their style before you even see their face.

Alongside swimming patterns, animals like sharks, dolphins, and rays can be identified by distinctive features, from their pectoral fins to their head, tail, and overall body shape.

With support from the DPI @nswgov , @nsw_sharksmart , @surfing_nsw hold a drone program that significantly boosts safety and surveillance capabilities along the NSW coastline.

The drones, along with the training delivered to our clubs and communities, support shark surveillance during club rounds, help spot potential dangers in the ocean such as shark sightings, identify rips, and aid in rescues.
The knowledge and skills gained are no doubt invaluable.

Who can you identify in this lineup? 👆

Epic day at Coffs Harbour for the ABB Nationals Qualifiers. Our team ended up finishing with a semi final, just falling short of qualifying. Here are some waves from today. Proud of our team & a big thanks to Hilly, Muz & Josh coming down to support

Our team is also off to North straddie this coming weekend for the Straddie Assault. Best of luck & fingers crossed for good waves 🏳️🏴

July’s Psych-K®️ Basic Workshop was all that I could have imagined and more. This cool bunch spent 3 transformative days learning and practising some cool processes to shift subconscious beliefs for good. Forming strong connections was a bonus.

Our group were of varying ages; upbringings; experiences; beliefs; financial, business and relationship statuses. The one thing they shared was an open mind and curiosity to explore and transform their subconscious beliefs. They identified layers that no longer served them, and as they transformed them, there were shifts towards greater self-love/acceptance/worth/belief ❤️ We saw fears overcome; trauma released and physical symptoms shift. The ripple effects are immeasurable 💫

A few of the crew continued straight on to the master workshop, to learn how to “master” the Psych-K®️ processes and learn how to facilitate clients (referred to as “partners” in Psych-K) online and over the phone, as well as learn a very cool “messages” protocol.

In the fortnight since, there has been more organic connection, sharing and support. My heart is full and excited for this crew showing up for themselves and stepping into their potential.

To join our next Psych-K®️ Basic Workshop and learn an incredible tool for creating lasting change for the life of your dreams, head to link in bio to register.
