Thanks to all the amazing volunteers who dedicated their time last month to empower individuals that are experiencing homelessness. Together, we are transforming our Relatives’ journey towards self-sustainability and brighter futures.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and supporters came together to provide a range of essential services. These vital services are lifelines for our Relatives. They do so much more than just help them survive on the streets; they provide the opportunities that every human being deserves.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, supporters, and partners who made this event a success. Your generosity and dedication are making a tangible impact in the lives of those facing homelessness.

Join us next month on the last Saturday as we continue our mission to uplift underserved communities and pave the way for a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference! 🌎✨

March is National Nutrition month and we know that people experiencing homelessness are more likely to have inadequate diets and poorer nutritional status than housed U.S. populations.

The FOR initiative seeks to provide our Relatives with healthy full course meals that includes representation from all groups of the food pyramid. Our Relatives receive hot meals, fresh produce, healthy snacks, fruit juices and water.

While public and private agencies provide nutritious food and meals for homeless persons, availability of the services to the displaced community is limited. Many of our #Relatives lack appropriate health care, and certain nutrition-related health problems are prevalent among them.

The DRP Healthcare team is doing its part to further understand the relationship between homelessness and nutrition.

Help the DRP continue to provide our Relatives with monthly meals by making a donation at:

- Distant-Relatives.Org/Give
- CashApp: $DistantRelatives
- PayPal.Me/DistantRelatives

Thanks for helping us continue to lead our #Relatives on a path to self-sustainability!

I went to support a local modeling agency called @agency.jag and I was definitely impressed by the their work. All the models were professional& beautiful✨. The dancers were gravitating. The music was on point! The host was engaging and fun. Last but not least, the boss lady, Jennifer, was superb! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet her, but seeing her work manifest was enough to understand her vision✨.

Ps. Thank you for the goodie bag &I definitely feel like I had the best seat in the house lol 😌💁🏾‍♀️
