Hands came together, tools were shared, and step by step, fifty desks took shape. From cutting and sanding to the final touches, the Wamasa community, CHOICE Kenya staff, and volunteers worked side by side to build classroom furniture that will support students for years to come.

The students of Wamasa now have a place to sit, write, and learn with dignity, creating a more focused and encouraging environment for their education.

Because when a student has a seat, they have a better shot at success.

In Wamasa, CHOICE Kenya worked alongside volunteers and community members to support efforts already taking root.

Working together, we build one classroom and fifty desks to improve the learning environment for students. We supported water access through the expansion of a school water pan. During mentorship sessions students and parents talked about their goals, shared their experiences, and encouraged one another to reach their potential and take up their responsibilities despite the challenges they face.

The progress achieved in Wamasa is rooted in partnership, built on trust, and led by the community itself.

Thank you for joining us in entrenching development in rural communities!
