The last few days have been tough, but it's time to pick up the head and move on 🥊

Forgiveness starts in the heart, it blooms as frustration and resentment and when the petals fall there’s nothing that lingers but hope. Hope for a tomorrow that’s already came and gone a billion times yet we were too blind to see it. I’ve made questionable choices, I’ve fallen in love with questionable men and women, I’ve neglected myself until the shards of my ribcage no longer protected my heart. I questioned my resilience, was it resilience if I had no other choice? No one could get close enough to see the cynism that was persistently drowning my heart, I liked it that way..at first.

With two little pairs of innocent and watchful eyes gazing at me, I carried heartwrenching guilt. Quietly like an abandoned piano that forgot its last notes. What could I do to bring back those nine years I lost with my little Arsae? How would this effect our bond as she got older? Then I thought about my little Omi. How is she bidding with this new presence in our life? She always talked about having a sister before the divorce was finalized and I didn’t think it was possible to start over again, I didn’t want to.

“I knew you’d be back.” A soft spoken, coffee roasted voice approached from in front of me. “And like always, it’s never for you.” I held back the urge to roll my eyes as he made his final yet distant step. “Ouch.” He said, holding his shoulder like I’d speared it with just my gaze. I said nothing. “Are you just going to stand there or are you going to help me?” He stood there with somber eyes, probably reminiscing on the past. “Anything for you, and always.” Music to my ears. He walked around the passenger side of the car and opened the door staring at a few shopping bags and a puppy sitting in his place. “Let’s get started, I want to know everything.”

Scene: I’m finally calling it a night.

Chileeeee, today was LONG. 😩

I spent most of the day filming, and by the time I was finally wrapping things up, my new bed set arrived! Once they got my frame and mattress put together, you already know I had to get to work. I fixed that bed up nice and pretty because if I’m getting a new bed, it’s definitely about to LOOK like a new bed. 😂

But the deliveries didn’t stop there!

My bassinet arrived too because my new nieceypop is going to be coming over, and we need her little spot ready! Now listen… I haven’t had a newborn around in TWO YEARS, and apparently I forgot how much work putting baby stuff together can be. Chile… putting that bassinet together was HELL.

By the time I finished, I needed to soak my whole entire self. So I ran me a nice warm Epsom salt soak, relaxed for a little while, and let my body recover from the day. After that, I sat down, ate some leftovers, and finally got to work editing the videos I filmed for YouTube.

And now?

The videos are getting edited, the baby stuff is ready, my new bed is all pretty and cozy…

SO I’M OFFICIALLY OFF THE CLOCK.

Time to climb into this new bed and break it in properly. 🛏️✨

Goodnight from me because tomorrow can worry about itself. 😂
