Y’all, I’m SO excited to share this project!
This mountain cabin sits on some of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen, but the interior? It’s giving “random furniture store explosion” rather than “luxury mountain retreat.”
Here’s what we’re tackling over the next 8 weeks:
✨ Exterior paint refresh
✨ Complete furniture + decor overhaul
✨ Modern mountain aesthetic
✨ Hot tub addition
✨ Outdoor deck transformation
The challenge? This place is WAY out there, which means every delivery, every coordination call, every paint sample has to be planned perfectly. No quick trips to Home Depot!
But that’s what makes it exciting. We’re creating a luxury Airbnb experience that matches those incredible views.
Who’s ready to follow along? This transformation is going to be GOOD.

A little bit from our evening together last night 💖

Sometimes all we need is to circle up with other women, write poetry, drink cacao, do a craft and mostly just BE with each other. A space free of judgement, expectations, pressure, worry, or posturing. It’s quite sweet to see, and be a part of, the sweetness that unfolds in these simple spaces.

Just wanted to share more sweet moments from this past year.

We continue to connect with some of the most incredible human beings and our community here in Asheville (and all over) holds such a special place in our hearts. We get to do this work because of you, so thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in a retreat, workshop, or gathering that we’ve hosted. Thank you to everyone who follows us, shares our stuff, and supports us through this platform. Thank you to everyone cheering us on.

We are deeply grateful.

This next year feels big, in a good way. So off we go into this new chapter, holding each and every one of you close to us.

The year full of peaks and valleys.

Traveled to three countries.
Dressed up as granny Ethel… a lot.
Made new deep connections.
Consistently went to therapy.
Read SO many fantasy books.
Continued my education.
Both of my businesses @awakenwellness_retreats and @balancethebodymassage grew in ways I never imagined, failed a few times, overwhelmed me a lot … and I couldn’t be more proud of Lindsay and I. I really love what I do.
Had the most amazing bachelorette party.
Got married and had my heart blasted wide open.
Went through a natural disaster, and felt some of the deepest grief I’ve ever felt in my life. It has forever changed me.
Used @awakenwellness_retreats to raise just over $10,000 to help rebuild our community (supply drops, donations to those we know, free workshops, free massages)
Learned a lot about my nervous system and how important it is to take a break. The burnout/shutdown I experienced taught me so much.
Went to Iceland to plan an international retreat, planned it, launched it, and sold out within a couple weeks.
Played lots of board games.
Laughed and cried a lot.

I am really grateful.

First women’s gathering in our new space was a success!

It felt like we were all meant to be there for similar reasons and it was so lovely to drop into conversations with these women about our lives, our identities, and how we care for ourselves.

One thing we love about the work we do is how much we get to learn from the folks we work with. Our cups are full and we can’t wait for next month’s gathering 💞

I love my people deeply.

I’ve cried so much this past weekend, so many emotions. I felt so overwhelming loved it was painful and hard to accept at times. I was given so much; time, gifts, acts of service, words of affirmation. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. This weekend really knocked me off my feet.

I’d specifically like to call out my bridesmaids Lindz, Sarah, Mandy, Ab, My, Kat, Michelle, Jess… I didn’t have a wedding planner, I knew I was surrounded by the best people to bring my vision to fruition. To no surprise, they ended up making that vision 100x’s better. I was so grounded all weekend, literally chilling, because I knew I had nothing to worry about with these bad ass babes backing me up. They did EVERYTHING. Holy shit. I don’t even have the words to express how thankful I am. I have never felt so cared for in my entire life.

Special shout out to @marissavargo @isaac_ @abbnormaliti and @mistymtn.man for being the best camp counselors I could have dreamed up. So many fun games!

SO grateful for @sadiethorellphoto , her talent is insane! She’s magic behind a lenses. I feel so comfortable around her and she’s unmatched when it comes to capturing how a moment really feels. Her photography tells a story and damn do I love her!

Big thanks to the talented @jennafulmer_ for coming in to do hair! She’s seriously the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. Plus she’s so caring, beautiful, chill and funny! It’s a gift to be in her chair.

So much love to @jennashawty for giving a pre wedding massage to make sure I was grounded. She has a special touch, andI feel so comfortable with her. My massage school bestie knows me so well and I’m forever grateful for her.

To @zachstivers my new brother! We couldn’t have picked a better officiant. So heartfelt and poetic. Plus, he’s such a thespian!

@cfreeland08 for being a great DJ while I walked down the isle. She nailed the transitions!

So grateful for @alevides … the best DJ I could have asked for. He knows how to bring the energy! Everyone is still raving about it!

To all those who couldn’t be there or whom I didn’t send an invitation (had to keep it small). You were with me spirit, I thought of you often, I love you.
