Phosgore wrote a song called "20 ways to kills someone". However, @owenpillai only needs 1. This week it was burpees.

I don't usually call a coach an asshole until the entire workout is written. I think I had grounds to say it after just 2 words.. MAX BURPEES.

It’s been a busy weekend 😅

Huge congrats to some of our members who ran the 10k this morning with LOADS of PBs

And a big well done to those who took part in the Relentless Hyrox Sim across yesterday and today

Us coaches are super proud ❤️

Now rest up, it’s TEST WEEK babyyyy

So after a lovely session of sweating with the Saturday gang. I wanted to get some odd object hoisting in. It feels so good to plonk up an 80kg ish (Probably 90kg ish) @tfench bag on a platform for a few reps. Did about 6 singles and finished with a double. Happy Saturday indeed!

There must be an unwritten rule @owenpillai has to destroy peoples legs on Saturday. It's been a hot minute since I came off a rower or airbike and my legs went "Naaaah!" It happened...every...single...time! Glad to feel humbled once more.

That was awesome. More reminders of @owenpillai and @build_another_wallofbooks pseudo torture of The Daily Grind. Swapped a few movements and mixed up the order that would trigger @mickeylj 😆

Best place to be to release all of the weekly stress.

Sometimes all you need is to hold someone or something close. Give a big hug, be still for a moment and just breathe.

1min on, 30s off for 10 rounds
1 SB squat + SB hold for remainder of minute

Morning Moving today is brought to you by @bagwod and @tfench

Testing how much my sand throwing strength has dropped. I can say that a few reps almost got me seeing stars. Just see how often I propped myself up on my knees or on the sofa.

Still chuffed I can fling this 80kg bag around. Not so happy with the friction burns before work 😆

Morning Moving 05.08.2025
2min on, 30s off x 4
15 KB swings
10 floor press
5 air squats
Max banded curls

More curls for @theantigymgymclub 😆

Legs are sore from 100 air squats yesterday but it's good to get moving before being mostly stuck at a desk.

Feeling all the love from @theantigymgymclub crew on my birthday despite the shit sandwich @owenpillai wrote but I did kinda ask for it. 🥵💀 All I can day is that @mrsmann88 called nearly all the movements 😄🦵👍

Thanks for the on point card and recognising my penchant for a certain energy drink.

Turned back the clock-ish. Went to the local big gym where @mwkenna has been to be found at a lunch time.

The main area just isn't for me, neither was the music lol. Found the power lifting platforms and a trap bar. The urge to stroll with the trap bar was high but decided against it.

Skill complex x 2 @ 40kg
1 power clean, hang power clean, hang squat clean.
Either my body has totally forgotten how to squat clean or I didn't warm my hips up enough. 🫣

E2OM x 5
Complex @ 50kg
2 x hang power clean
2 x power jerk
Had some odd looks from those squatting, pressing and deadlifting while parking my butt on the plates to rest 😆

Trap bar deadlifts
3 x 5 @ 85kg, 115kg, 115kg
1 x 5 @ 125kg
Super aggressive knurling on that bar. 🤬
Either way, it felt awesome.

After all the crappy bus service this morning, I still managed to move awkward stuff for 20mins. If only being over 30min late would give me freedom at work like this 😆

20min AMRAP. Rest until top of next min to start next round
1 SB carry @ 60kg
3 tyre flips
5 floor press @ 40kg
500m air bike
5 floor.press
3 tyre flips
1 SB carry

Happy Rhyd is happy 🤘💪😍😄
