🎈HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOOK!
On this date 4 years ago, we hosted our very first solo bass event and honestly the vibes were incredible from day one!

Four years later, we feel incredibly blessed to still be providing quality Dubstep and Drum & Bass events. It’s not always easy financially, and there are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes, but it is an absolute honour to continue bringing bass shows to this beautiful community.

❤️ THANK YOU for your ongoing support. We honestly couldn’t do it without you legends!

WHY DO WE RAVE?

🎵 Because for a few hours, the outside world disappears.
🎶 The dancefloor becomes a place of freedom, where everyone is welcome and nobody is judged.
🖤 We rave because it reminds us how beautiful the world can be.

THANK YOU for bringing your best selves to rave with us again and again.
The Sydney bass community is so damn special and we are so grateful to be a part of it 🫶

Happy Friday bassheads! To celebrate we have a special guest mix from this years Your Shot winner, MISHSQUISH.
Expect a top-shelf selection of booty-shaking trap, dubstep and riddim.

Check out our new SHOOK Soundcloud for regular guest mixes and big things on the horizon.

A BIT ABOUT MISHSQUISH…
Since winning the 2026 Your Shot DJ competition, MISHSQUISH has been gaining momentum in the Sydney scene. Her sets are known for their open-format genre blending with a heavy bass focus, and their mixing of well-known anthems with underground tracks. She places an emphasis on including the sounds of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC+ musicians and producers, as well as Australian and
local artists. MISHSQUISH has always loved digging for new tracks and is not afraid to experiment with new ideas.

Often noticed for her energy, MISHSQUISH’s performance
presence reflects her sound. Her sets are anything but repetitive and she’s guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

Enjoy!
