A heartfelt thank you to Minority Women Pursuing Law at UT Austin @mwplaw for their incredibly generous donation of books and stuffed animals to our court.

When children have to accompany a parent to court, they may find themselves in an unfamiliar and intimidating world, one that most children never see. Coming to court means going through security, seeing police officers, and sitting in a courtroom where adult issues are being discussed.

We want to transform their experience if we can, and you have helped us do just that! Thanks to you these kids will leave with something that brings them comfort and, hopefully, a smile. ♥️

2/4 ✅ Scroll to the end to see why God’s plan is better and perfect in power.

Oh my where do I even begin. My sophomore year of college was one of the most difficult yet rewarding things I have ever experienced. Who knew deciding to become an RA at a freshman dorm would change my life for the better. At the beginning of this year I didn’t know what this year would look like. I was going through a hard break up, I had no friends at UT and I felt completely alone. In my brokenness, God met me and showed me I needed more in my life. I prayed for community endlessly and it took some time but he provided. I remember the first time I realized I was no longer alone when I got baptized and I had a full row of friends and family there to support me. My walk with Jesus hasn’t been perfect but every choice, every action, every outcome lead me to the most loving family, amazing friends and even a plentiful job that I now call home. Now I have an amazing CG at church who checks on me when I’m sick, friends who are always down to go to dance our hearts out at Mavs, coworkers who make me laugh daily and people in my life who make college a little bit easier. Thank you Jesus for an amazing year, I know now that I was actually never alone in the first place, I just needed some time to find my people. Special thank you to my parents and sisters for hearing my crashouts 2-3x a week. 😅

Join WLC for an evening of meaningful connection and professional growth at our Speed Networking Event!

In partnership with the Mother Attorney Mentoring Association (MAMAs) and Minority Women Pursuing Law (MWPL), this program brings together students and practicing attorney mothers for structured, small-group networking conversations. Designed to foster mentorship, candid dialogue, and lasting professional relationships, the evening will create space for students to ask questions, share aspirations, and learn from attorneys navigating both the legal profession and motherhood.

Whether you are seeking guidance, community, or inspiration, this event offers an opportunity to build connections that extend beyond a single evening.

🫶 Grateful to Ramos James Law’s Attorneys Ryan Toomey and Arielle Allen for pouring into the Minority Women Pursuing Law Students group today @mwplaw .

The insights you shared are the kind of guidance needed in law school — practical, honest, and deeply empowering. 🙏🏻

Giving back to our community is more than something we do. It’s part of who we are. We’re proud to work alongside people who lead with purpose and show up with heart.

And a huge shoutout to @alma.glou ⁩ for organizing everything so smoothly and making the visit both welcoming and truly impactful. ✨ Great work.
