PA Week is a pretty great reminder of just how far this career can take you.

Clinical practice, teaching, speaking, entrepreneurship. Your PA career can keep evolving right alongside you.

Happy PA Week to all of the PAs who keep becoming 💚

Your turn! What’s one thing you do now that your PA-school self never saw coming?

My path into teaching wasn't a five-year plan.

It started with a lecture at a local PA conference @asapaorg and a former professor @mwupaprogram who happened to be in the audience.

I said yes because I wanted to give back to my alma mater.

I didn't realize at the time that I was also building a new professional pillar: Education/Teaching.

And when the program eventually no longer needed an endocrine lecturer, I thought that chapter was over.

It wasn't.

👉 Save this one and come back for Post 3, because what happened next completely changed how I think about finding teaching opportunities.

I am truly grateful to be part of a team that values growth and personal development. Our Program Director coordinated an afternoon for our entire college to focus on personal development. We learned about ourselves and our preferred communication and working styles. What a great way to improve personal and collaborative productivity. @rlavarnway led the event and created a great environment for reflection and growth. And as a bonus, he let me try on his MLB World Series ring! #mwu #midwesternuniversity #pasdothat #growthmindset
