The one thing AI still can't fake: taste.

Maddie King breaks down why on this episode of Seen: it's not talent, not luck, just years spent training your own eye and being able to defend what you think is good. Everyone has the same tools now. Taste is what's left.

If your only filter for "is this good" is whether it came out fast from the AI, that's the problem, not the solution.

What if 10% of your marketing budget was reserved for… dumb shit? 👀

@mxddieking (Product Marketing Manager at Canva) take: brands need to take more big swings.

Keep the BAU running, keep doing what works but leave 5–10% of the budget for the ideas that might completely flop.

Because sometimes they will.
And sometimes they’ll deliver the most outsized returns for the business.
Would you take the swing? 🎯

"Everyone has had an iPhone in their pocket for the last decade but you're still going to hire a photographer if you really want a high quality shoot" 🤖🤯

We sat down with @mxddieking, Product Marketing Manager at @canva where she broke down how your own creativity is still your most valuable asset.

But if you stop using it you won't notice your own taste getting worse.

That's what makes it dangerous, not the quality of what AI produces, but how quietly it can replace the part of your brain you never watch closely.
