🕊️❤️ POR SIEMPRE EN NUESTROS CORAZONES — EN MEMORIA DE ALLISON CASTILLO ⚽🙏

Por estas fechas, hace un año, una tragedia golpeó profundamente a nuestra familia de So Cal Select, cuando perdimos a uno de nuestros angelitos, Allison Castillo. 💔

Allison formó parte de So Cal Select durante dos años. Durante el último año de su vida, estuvo con nosotros haciendo lo que más amaba: jugar fútbol. ⚽❤️

Cada vez que teníamos un evento o torneo, Allison era una de las primeras jugadoras en levantar la mano para representar a So Cal Select. Siempre daba el corazón y dejaba todo en la cancha.

Era una jovencita con un talento increíble, un futuro lleno de posibilidades y una pasión enorme por este hermoso deporte.

Uno de los primeros torneos internacionales a los que Allison me acompañó fue la Copa Cachanilla en Mexicali, México, donde fue una jugadora clave para que nuestro equipo lograra coronarse campeón. 🏆❤️

Son recuerdos que llevaré conmigo por el resto de mi vida.

Este año me comuniqué con la familia de Allison para pedirles permiso de realizarle un pequeño homenaje durante la Copa Cachanilla, uno de los torneos donde ella dejó su huella y demostró su gran talento.

Quiero que su nombre, su historia y su legado nunca sean olvidados.

Allison no fue solamente una jugadora de nuestro programa. Fue y siempre será parte de nuestra familia. Su sonrisa, su dedicación, su talento y su espíritu de lucha vivirán por siempre en nuestros corazones.

A la familia Castillo, quiero agradecerles de todo corazón por haber confiado en mí y en So Cal Select. Gracias por permitirnos ser parte de la vida de su pequeña y por compartir con nosotros su hermoso talento.

Fue un verdadero honor verla crecer, competir y representar nuestros colores.

🕊️❤️ FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS — IN LOVING MEMORY OF ALLISON CASTILLO ⚽🙏

Around this time 1 year, tragedy struck our So Cal Select family when we lost one of our beautiful angels, Allison Castillo. 💔

Allison was part of So Cal Select for two years, and during the final year of her life, she was right there with us, doing what she loved most — playing soccer.

Whenever we had an event or tournament, Allison was always one of the first players ready to represent So Cal Select. She gave everything she had every time she stepped onto the field. She was an incredibly talented young lady with so much potential, passion, and love for the game.

One of the first international tournaments Allison attended with me was Copa Cachanilla in Mexicali, Mexico. She became a key player in helping our team become champions. Those are memories I will carry with me forever. 🏆❤️

This year, I reached out to Allison's family to ask for their permission to honor her with a special tribute at Copa Cachanilla, a tournament where she once made her mark.

I want her name, her story, and her legacy to live on.

Allison was more than just a soccer player in our program. She was part of our family. Her smile, dedication, talent, and fighting spirit will never be forgotten.

To the Castillo family, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me and So Cal Select with your precious daughter. Thank you for allowing us to be part of her journey and for sharing her incredible talent with us. It was truly an honor to have Allison represent our program.

Congratulations to Jonathan Placencia from our U16 MLS Next team on his current selection to the USYNT Futures Camp this week. The camp is being held in Chula Vista, Ca. 24 players were selected from all over the country for this event.
