Thank you again to all the DJs that joined us on the 12th for Breakaway at Dalston Den! Wicked night, crowd all behaved tremendously well and was full of energy start to finish.

Breakaway is back this Friday, courtesy of the @babycru.system girls, part of the @nrgcru massive. They’ll be showcasing 5 hours of underground dance music, as well as featuring some of you lovely lot at an Open Decks from 9pm.

Tickets are live on RA, FREE ENTRY before MIDNIGHT, grab yours now!🔋

We’ll be sharing some clips in the next two weeks of the sets on the 12th, keep an eye out for those and remember to stay hydrated.💧

Yo, quick announcement, we’ve added one more DJ to our lineup for Friday to bring us to a grand total of 8 selectors, and 1 MC. We aren’t messing about, for this one we’ll be keeping it pretty stripped back, with Coalition Residents hosting for the night, letting the music breathe and do it’s thing.

MXW (@mxw.uk), certified snare slinger, will be bringing his flavour of breakbeats and basslines to Dalston Den for Breakaway this Friday!

He’s played some incredible sets for the likes of Circuit Sounds (@circuitsounds.uk), Pomp Circus (@pompcircuspromotions), Escape Reality (@escaperealityuk), Subsidance (@subsidance17), DNB Unit (@dnbunit) and Division Sounds (@divisionsounds), at venues such Tola, Bricks, Hoxton Cabin and Four Quarters.

He’s also regularly on Infrared.FM (@infrareddotfm) playing a host of underground tunes spanning 160-180 BPM.

We can wait to have him down, he’ll be playing a special B2B on the night as well, but more to be revealed soon!

Yes people, Coalition are back this Friday at Dalston Den with another heavyweight lineup for the next Breakaway.

We’ve got Motive Hunter’s OS:MAN (@jake__osman), as well as MXW (@mxw.uk), combining for an additional B2B as well. We’ve got Tallboy, AKA TBJ (@tallboy.josh) bringing us a self-produced set, as well as support from Little Luce (@littlelucedj) and Rifster (@_rifster). We’ll also have residents Bryn Brax (@brynbrax), Whatsname (@djwhatsname) closing out the night, with ZoneSL (@zonesl)on mic duties.

The dust has finally settled after the madness of Inner City Grind Sessions PT2 with EMG, and we’ve got some visuals to share! Teamwork truly makes the dream work, and we need to give some massive big ups to the key people who made this day possible.

🏆 The Hall of Fame

Ben Hopkins (Owner, @hop_kingdom ): A massive thank you for hosting us. Without Ben, none of this would be possible. On behalf of all the brands and artists: thank you for creating such an amazing community space.

Rob & the EMG Crew: These absolute legends put in a 16-hour day and traveled all the way from Medway. Rob is a true sound man—handling every situation with class and total professionalism.

Tina Tucker: Keeping the energy up all day! The food was top-tier, and the crowd was loving it.

The Artists: Massive respect to every artist involved. Your talent is the heartbeat of these sessions, and we couldn't have done it without you.

We were gutted that there weren't many skaters on the day, so we couldn't run the comps as planned. Worry not! We are already working on a return later

this summer to make it right for the skate community.

A South East London–based DJ with a deep love for Jungle and Jungle Techno, MXW has been running Sound Therapy every other Monday for the past year and a half. Expect a two-hour session packed with smashing amens, rolling breaks, and funky basslines built to make your body move.

Growing up on everything from Linkin Park and Foo Fighters to The Prodigy, MXW’s journey moved through metal before landing in drum and bass in their late teens. Over the last seven years, that sound has evolved into a passion for Jungle, inspired by artists like Tim Reaper, Stekker, Janaway, Fendi-K and Cheetah.

More recently, MXW has been diving into Jungle Techno, drawing influence from names like Wishdokta, Slim Sinna and Arkyn.
