Monaco Sev Bites..

It is quite innovative and involves sandwiching the biscuits with a peppy potato mixture and coating it with sauces and chutney in crunchy sev
Its a popular tea-time accompaniment in India. In fact, some of us love it so much that we keep looking for more ways to enjoy it........
.
.
.

Ingredients:
15-20 Monaco biscuits
2 medium potato boiled & mashed
2 tbsp onion finely chopped
2 tbsp tomato finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
1 tsp chat masala
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
Imli khajoor chutney
2 tbsp green chutney
1/2 cup nylon sev.
.
.
.
Making Sev Bites :

☘️Place a monaco biscuit on a clean dry surface, spread 1 tsp stuffing on it.
☘️Place another biscuit on the stuffing and press it lightly.

☘️Prepare all the biscuits this way.

☘️Take one prepared stuffed biscuit and coat it with tomato ketchup, litte khajoor chutney..

☘️Then roll the prepared stuffed biscuit in sev and coat it evenly from all the sides.

☘️Now take another prepared stuffed biscuit and coat it with green chutney.
Again then roll the prepared stuffed biscuit in sev and coat it evenly from all the sides.
☘️Prepare all the sev bites this way.

If you are making for kids, coat the prepared stuffed biscuits in tomato ketchup, and if not then mix match the combination of sauces.
Serve this immediately and enjoy..

Note:
You can change stuffing as per your choice as you can also use boiled corn in the stuffing.
You can use any chutney instead of tomato ketchup khajoor chutney or green chutney.

Also, serve the snack immediately after preparation or it will get soggy.

Looking for a gluten-free bread, here we are with a gluten-free flat beard : RAGI ROTI
.
.
Recipe/ पाकविधि:

◆Ingredients/सामग्री:
2 cups Ragi flour/ नाचनी का आटा
1 cup water/ पानी

◆Instruction/ विधि:
1.First keep tawa on low heat.
Take about 1 cup of ragi flour in a plate, by adding little water at a time knead soft dough.
2. Roll dough into round ball and slowly flatten it between your palms up to 1/2 inch of thickness.
3. Take this flattened dough on one palm and dip 1st two fingers of another hand in water. Roll the wet fingers over the edge of flattened dough, smoothening the edge.
4. Sprinkle some flour over the dough and rolling board.
5. Put the dough on rolling board and slowly by giving light pressure, press it into flat bread. Use one hand to pressurize the dough and another hand to keep rolling it.
6. Put this roti on heated tawa.
7. Immediately sprinkle some water on roti and spread the water over entire roti using your palm. {Now this requires skill, experience will give you the skill. So give it a try. You can avoid this step completely.}
8. Flip the roti after 2-3 mins. Turn the flame high.
9. Again flip roti after 3-4 mins and use a cloth or spatula to make sure it is roasted properly. Especially the edge.
10. Once you see brown spots take out the roti.
Repeat above steps with another half ragi flour.

You can add salt as per taste in step 1 before adding water but without salt the ragi roti gives beautiful sweet taste.

You can have this roti with anything you like.

Ragi has good amount of calcium, potassium and protein.
It also gives the required amount of carbohydrate.
It prevents diabetes.
Also it is easier to digest.
It is rich in antioxidants.
It maintains haemoglobin.
