It’s time for another Why Kappa Wednesday! Get to know @samanthamparis and her Kappa story⚜️🌷

“I always knew I wanted to Go Greek and gain a group of friends, but I would have never expected to find my family. I was unable to go through Formal Recruitment my freshman year and ensured I made the most of the informal opportunities I had to meet the chapters (Meet the Greeks, Campus Fest). From those conversations, Kappa immediately jumped to the top of my list. I felt such a deep connection to our philanthropy and knew I could see myself prospering in a place where there was open communication regarding mental health. I walked into the Kappa house for the first time during a COB event in Fall 2024, and once I walked in, I never wanted to leave. I was able to talk to many girls in the chapter and loved every conversation I had. Once I was offered a bid, I couldn’t imagine saying no, and I still can’t imagine where I would be without Kappa. Kappa Kappa Gamma has given me such authentically loving and supportive friendships I have truly never experienced before. It has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader and serve those around me. And it has given me a place to call home where I can be my whole self. I cannot thank @bgsukkg and all my sisters enough - for the positive memories, unwavering support, and constant encouragement that has allowed me to become the best version of myself.”
