One month of DCLS

Some things I’ve learned while being here
1. Learning to bring my feelings to God instead of thinking I have to have it all together.
2. Jesus entered our darkness, He still washed our feet even though we have sinned.
3. With Jesus all things are possible.
4. Jesus has a mighty calling on our lives and we need to trust him with it fully.
5. Satan is also fishing for us. Just like how Jesus is fishing for us. Always keep your eyes on Jesus and only him.
6. I want to be on the deep end for the Lord.
7. I just want to be in awe of you Jesus and only you.
8. We are a dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.
9. The Lord’s Prayer is so important.
10. Let my life be a testimony of your glory.

Thank you Jesus for all the friendship I’ve made and thank you that I’m able to pour into people who need it the most. I love you Jesus

Hey everyone! I’m Destiny and I’m from BC, Canada! 🇨🇦 I’m so excited to be able to serve this year in the community and allow people to feel the love of Jesus. I have been seeing God work in my family this summer and how he’s working in their lives. The main thing he’s been teaching me is trusting his timing in things and that his plans are better than ours!!

Hi, my name is Elysia and I’m from North Carolina! I’m excited to be intentional in creating intimate time with the Lord while embracing community. I’m seeing the Lord shifting culture here at the Dream Center and bringing restoration in my family back home 🙌

I’m from Northern California specially the Bay Area, and this year I’m extremely excited to be able to grow in my calling that the Lord is putting in front of me, as well as being able to disciple the incoming first years! And right now im really seeing the Lord move in my life, especially with me being in obedience to Him!

wow LA has my heart 🤍

from staying in and doing kitchen duties to going out and doing homeless outreach on skid row, this trip absolutely changed my life in so many ways. getting to serve through the Dream Center reminded me what it truly looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

God moved in ways i never expected this week. through every conversation, every prayer, and every person we met, He showed me the importance of loving people the way He does. this trip stretched my faith, humbled me, and opened my eyes to how powerful serving others can be.

so beyond grateful for the people i served with, the lives we encountered, and everything God taught me through it all. i’ll carry this week with me forever 🤍

Saying goodbye to California will never be easy. It’s so clear now what God had planned for me at Dream Center Leadership School. The Lord has saved me and transformed my heart and mind. He has given me a community that became family and blessed me with loving guidance. Through this season, the true character of Jesus and the depth of His love for us have been revealed to me. I have been blessed with the privilege of being the hands and feet of Jesus, and with the pure, loving hearts of children who are yearning for the love of our Lord. Thank you @thedcls for the incredible experience and the memories you have given me. You are forever my home away from home.
