flag has given me more than just a sport, it gave me a home, a purpose, and people who changed my life. this journey wasn’t always easy, but every challenge, every setback, and every moment of uncertainty made me stronger and reminded me why i fell in love with this game in the first place.

i’ve seen so much change over the years, and through it all, this team has been my constant. it taught me resilience, how to keep showing up even when things feel heavy, and how to lead with heart no matter what the circumstances look like. being here, still standing, still playing, means more to me than words can fully capture.

to my teammates (past and present): thank you for being my family, for the laughs, the grind, and the moments that made everything worth it. to my coaches: thank you for every lesson, every push, and every belief in me along the way.

i’ll always be grateful for the opportunities this sport gave me and the people it brought into my life. this game helped shape who i am. i don’t know what the future holds, but i do know this game has prepared me for whatever comes next. it’s given me confidence, discipline, and a love for the grind that i’ll carry into every chapter of my life.

First off, Id like to thank everyone who has helped me in my journey thus far and for all the wonderful memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life from this sport. Due to personal reasons, I have decided to take a step back from Flag Football and focus my time and energy in my Track and Field abilities. I will continue to be at Cottey College pursuing my degree and playing sports, just not as a football player. Id like to specifically thank my teammates and coaches for their love and support with this very difficult decision. Thank you for this years memories and I love you all! 💛💛💛
Secondly, Id like to say that I am so very proud to have been a steping stone in the development of flag football at the collegiate level. Football is my biggest passion, and seeing the growth of this sport has brought me such joy. Seeing other women passionate about the aport I love so much brings me to tears often. 🏈👩
Lastly, Id like to thank God and my family for there continued sport on the field, off the field, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Without you I could not do it. I love you! ✝️🫶🙏
