To The Ladies Of Miss America 2026: Today's My Birthday! 🎉🎂🎈

My director Amanda asked me after I won my title, “what prelim award to you wanna work towards?” I told her “I don’t care about any prelims, the only award that is truly important to me is Miss congeniality, that shows my true character and the honest love I have for all of the girls”

When I heard my name called for this award I could no longer hold in my tears, because what some people may see as just a name written on a little piece of paper, means the entire world to me! As all of my sister saw through out the week I am a crier for just about anything sad or not, I was just so proud of each of the girls I got to share the stage with. This was the first time all week though that I cried about me. That vote means more then a pretty diamond it means I came and did exactly what I set out to do, make an impact and be there for the girls that have always been there for me.

As for the rookie of the year award that I received, I don’t even know where to start. I didn’t know this was an award option until our virtual workshop where they announced it to us but but the time it came competition week the adrenaline made me forget all about it until on stage right before my name was announced. At that point the only thought in my head was “what do I do with my diamond!?”

In true seriousness though, I am so happy I was able to show my true self to the judges on that stage. I think my lack of expectations and my drive to enjoy my time is what I have to thank for my success. The board of judges we were given exceeded all expectations I had and made every interaction so enjoyable. But above everyone else I know it was god who led me to this moment gifting me the strength to glorify him every second.

3 months as Miss City of Sunshine☀️👑

These past 3 months have been an exciting, beautifully busy whirlwind and I am grateful for every moment I’ve had with this title so far🤍

From appearances across the community, working on my CSI, bonding with my sisters, and having a wonderful week full of growth and forever memories at Miss Oregon; I’ve truly experienced and lived all the points of the crown and have seen what makes the Miss America Opportunity so incredible👑

I am so blessed to be able to serve my community for the rest of my year and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for the next 9 months!

What brings a tear to my eye is the reaction of the girls standing on that stage beside me. 🥹

I want to be the kind of woman who shows up for the people around her with genuine love and support. That’s the kind of Miss Oregon I want to be.

To me, this is what matters most… the sisterhood, the friendships, and the bonds that exist far beyond a crown or a sash.

Knowing the hearts of these women makes me want to represent this title as the very best version of myself because I truly know it could have been any one of us crowned that night. I know what it feels like to not hear your name. I know what it’s like to walk off that stage feeling like you gave everything you had.

Throughout this year, I hope to make these women proud, the ones who cheered the loudest for me after pouring their own hearts into this journey. I hope they always know that they are the heart of Miss Oregon. 🩷

As the dust has settled from this whirlwind of a week, I realized I simply couldn’t make a post about me without one about this wonderful human.

My Mya, my name twin, my forever Miss Oregon. From the minute I met you, I knew you were special. I instantly knew you would do great things, and boy was I right. You led our state with such grace, kindness, authenticity, passion, and above all else, faith in our God. Our program was beyond blessed to have a leader like you, and watching you serve throughout your year was a true honor.

I’m beyond excited to cheer you on in everything you do forever and ever. I hope your next chapter is filled with lots of love and zero sugar strawberries & cream Dr. Peppers. God is far from finished shining his light through you, and I can’t wait to continue to watch His goodness in you.

Miss Oregon 2026🤍

Going into this week, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew it would be fun and I’d make friends but what I didn’t know was how it would feel. I didn’t know how emotionally connected I would become with everyone, from contestants, to volunteers, to board members. I felt so incredibly loved, supported, and valued by everyone I encountered. I fell in love with every woman that walked that stage and I believe every single contestant is capable of achieving her goals. It was an honor being among them.

I am so incredibly thankful to have been selected as a Top 12 Finalist. I have grown tremendously throughout this week and appreciate everyone who poured into me and helped make that happen.

To my board: thank you for believing in me and supporting me in every way possible. I appreciate you more than you know.

To my sister titleholders: I couldn’t have done this without you. You all showed me so much love and stood by my side every step of the way. I love you all.

To my new sisters: it’s crazy how close we were able to become in just 7 days. You all have shown me the true meaning of sisterhood and I am so incredibly grateful to have created bonds so strong.

To Allyssa, Miss Oregon 2026: I don’t even know where to begin. From the day I met you at locals I was in awe of you. Your poise, passion, and dedication never went unnoticed. I can’t thank you enough for taking me under your wing, supporting me through it all, and not being afraid to have the tough conversations with me. I love you so much Allyssa and I am so incredibly proud.

To my family: I wouldn’t be here without your unwavering support and love. Thank you for coming with me on this new journey and learning all about this program with me.
