To be a woman is a task in itself. But to be a successful Black woman—to be accomplished, resilient, and powerful—is often met with our achievements being overlooked, questioned, or downplayed.

As I embark on 37, I reflect on every hardship I’ve encountered, every obstacle I’ve overcome, and every moment that was meant to break me but instead helped build the woman I am today.

I pray that this next chapter brings blessings beyond anything I could have imagined. I am a strong, Black, powerful woman, and I stand at 37 proud of who I am and everything it took to get here.

I am not behind. I am not late. I am right on time for the journey that was set for me.

Here’s to 37—more love, more peace, more purpose, more abundance, and blessings beyond measure.

Happy birthday to me. 🖤✨🥂 Chapter 37 begins.

Still on cloud 9 and I don’t think I’m coming down anytime soon. 🔥

Swipe through these photos because the SAMZ Academy launch was EVERYTHING.

The energy? Unmatched. The Spotlight artists in the building doing what they do best.
The networking was real — like genuine, this-could-change-my-life type conversations happening all around the room.

Pass the Mic had everybody on their feet. Performance after performance, talent after talent the room was electric the entire night.

AND we raised money for creative scholarships. Let that sink in. One night, one room full of believers, and we’re already investing in the next wave of creatives. 🙌🏾

I’m so grateful for everyone who pulled up, performed, and poured into this vision. Y’all didn’t just come to an event — you helped launch a movement.

Stay tuned. We’re just getting started and what’s coming next is going to be even bigger. 👀🎯

Last night was nothing short of a Movie 🍿

The SAMZ spotlight members showed up, the energy was immaculate, and watching creatives connect in real time — that’s exactly what SAMZ is built for.

Pass the Mic had the room GOING. The food was hitting. And knowing that money was raised for creative scholarships on top of all that? We can’t even put it into words.

To everyone who came out — thank you. You didn’t just attend an event, you showed up for a movement.

This is just the beginning. Stay locked in for launch updates, upcoming events, and everything we’ve been building behind the scenes. You do NOT want to miss what’s next. 👀
