Can we talk about the word vendor for a minute? And let us know your thoughts on this?

It’s a word you hear at almost every shopping event, but it’s one we’ve never really felt comfortable using at sisters. SHOP-UP.

Because these aren’t JUST people filling a stand or taking up a space. They’re female entrepreneurs building businesses, backing their ideas, taking risks, creating beautiful brands and putting a whole lot of themselves into what they do.

When they join us for a sisters. SHOP-UP edition we see it as a collaboration. A chance to give their businesses an additional platform, connect them with more customers and grow together in the process.

So no, we don’t have vendors. We work with BUSINESSES, BRANDS and a bunch of bloody marvellous women. And we’re pretty proud of that. ❤️

Because words matter. And so does recognising the women, the effort and hard work behind the brands who form part of our sisterhood.
