What we throw away still has a story. 🌱

For Mazingira Day, ELKA Creative & Studio sat down with @myecoloop for a meaningful conversation about waste, composting and the small everyday choices that can help us build a more sustainable future.

This collaboration reflects something we deeply believe at ELKA: impactful work deserves to be seen, understood and shared. Through human-led, social-first storytelling, we’re celebrating the people and businesses creating practical solutions for our communities and the planet.

What is one waste habit you could change this week and in the future?

🇰🇪 Check out @myecoloop our Kenya distributor’s amazing effort, e.g. showcase an operational Aerobin, at various exhibition venues.

An “Off grid” composting system demonstrates how much electricity we have to rely on in order to function our modern life. Anything can naturally work for our daily needs become a rare & luxury thing.

That’s why we actively promote home & community composting because it changes our view about nature, with the right designs & the quality of a product, we can live a modern life with the support of nature and less impact to the nature while being here 🌎🌍🌏.

Act locally & inspire more through home & community composting because it is relevant to everyone, everywhere and everyday.

🤔Composting teaches us life lessons:

1. Learn from mother nature
2. Be naturally resourceful for our need, not greed.
3. Life can be simple but still fulfilling
4. Making conscious daily choices good for our local environment & community
5. Be humble & down to earth with people
6. Small & consistent action makes a difference
7. Appreciate & live in presence.
8. Having hope for a better future
9. Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something.
10. My wastes is My responsibility.

😊Happy gardening and composting everyday!

🇦🇺 The same as many of you, late Dr. Jane Goodall had been an inspirational role model to us, her life long work for the environment proves individual action can become a collective action at grassroots level. Act locally & inspire more! 💚💯👍

One of many examples to demonstrate the amazing grass root level effort is 🇦🇺 @foodisfreeinc based in Ballarat, Australia.

This wonderful space supports its local community members through building a local community garden & composting hub. Gardening & composting ground people to its root. Let’s work together to make a stronger local community because that is where we live & belong.

Aerobin is not only providing solution for individual households but also offers a solution to the large community scale composting needs.
