Well… it was yesterday so we gon’ let it roll over 😂 Not gonna lie, this past year really tested my faith from within, my community, the most high thru it all. Trusting the process, being present, and being intentional has kept me grounded in the midst of everything I’ve experienced. All the projects I’ve secured, connections I’ve maintained and retained, choosing to be authentically me in every space has brought me here. to everyone I’ve worked, dance, created with…I’m immensely grateful.

@its.kadeem I love you babes♥️

To my girls that I have/haven’t seen I love y’all so much! I need girl dinner like every other month🫂🥰

and my God; they’re sounding the trumpets. so dearly, so dearly

these past weeks have been sooo surreal. thrill and rest. full circles, wobbly yet complete. Georgia. summertime NYC. meeting my idols, butterflies. dancing. writing. more time to (mis)understand. I’ve been meaning to be more open about it all. Jericho, you move me like a friend. I stood just a few inches from Frida Kahlo’s “The Wounded Deer” and felt that feeling multiply. shout out to bands; museums; siblings; outside. humbled to bone. i attack my shadow when it’s not looking. ridding guilt. finding my body again and again. wayward. stronger now—I think*. or maybe just more assured? I figure our tomorrows must be taller together. it feels easier to apologize and mean it. to want and mean it. to be still and mean it. rest in peace, Reginald “Reggie”Starks. there is no greater love than giving it all back

Yesterday I hosted my first community beginners yoga class since returning from Mexico to bring the magic, medicine & wisdom I’ve cultivated over the past few months to people who are close to my heart. I’m excited to continue growing & hosting more classes and events around the city.
