I’m overjoyed with all of the views and the overall response for Super Duper! I even got a lovely comment from someone in Slovenia saying they watched and enjoyed it! Thanks to everyone who helped make this film a reality! And thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to watch it!

And to top it all off, we also had our first day back for in-school programming! 🍎

We’re excited to kick off the semester with a group of middle school boys on Chicago’s Far South Side—building relationships, exploring visual storytelling, and creating a project shaped by their own ideas.

After six months apart, Frankie plans the perfect day to reconnect with Liv, culminating in a one-in-a-generation “Super Duper Moon”. But as one plan after another falls apart, the two are forced to confront the distance that’s grown between them, and what really matters to make their relationship work.
Super Duper goes live at 10:15pm tonight!!! On the Film in a Bag YouTube channel! That’s 8 for 8!!!! So grateful to everyone who helped me get this made! This one is very special to me. Please enjoy and let me know what you think!

More epic shots from Super Duper Day 1. I’m still so proud we built a process trailer with camera rigging! Thanks so much to @atlaslightingchicago for the gear! And a huge thank you to Camp Big Timber for giving us a place to drive!

My first post of many about my upcoming film “Super Duper” - Part of Film in a Bag’s 12 for 12 challenge! Here’s a bunch of moments from our first shoot day! This incredible crew fought through downpours, multiple locations, lightning delays, a late night, a DIY process trailer rig, and mosquitoes! Despite the world conspiring against us we made some magic! This has been one hell of an ambitious shoot, for a piece that is very near and dear to my heart, and thanks to everyone’s help, I believe we’re pulling off something special! Also give some love to the amazing photos by @myerscope!
