Today is a little reminder to check in with the people around you - not just today, but every day.

A simple “R U OK?” can open the door to a conversation that someone might really need. You never know what someone is carrying behind the scenes, so take a moment to ask, listen and genuinely check in. 🫶🏼

Whether it’s a colleague, a friend, a family member or even someone you haven’t spoken to in a while - a little kindness can go a long way.

A little R U OK? Day sweetness from @myfavouritebaker 🧁💛

Mental health is something I think we should talk about more, particularly in a world where so much of our interaction happens online.

We never really know what someone else is carrying, or the impact our words might have on them. Something that feels small to us can land very differently for someone else.

So, today and every day, I think it’s worth remembering to be kind. Check in with the people you care about. Give people a little grace. And remember there’s a real person on the other side of the screen.

Sometimes kindness costs us absolutely nothing, but it can mean a lot to someone else.

Do you want to enjoy a piece of cake without b!nge or emotional eating?

It’s possible but takes practice.

It starts by giving yourself full permission to eat the cake without self-criticism. Without telling yourself ‘I’ve stuffed up” or “il start again tomorrow”.

Try it this week - take a food you normally restrict and give yourself full permission to have it.

This promotes psychological safety, self-trust and reduces deprivation.
