Glow up so dope, even the planes know who’s lighting up the city ⚡️📍132 S Market Street

This spontaneous collab with @mygo_img was just electric. I’ll let the art do the rest of the talking because… who knew this was possible?!

Thank you @inglewoodopenstudios for supporting local artists and making this possible. Lastly, @novacolorpaint gets 5 stars for having the materials that make this thing light up the night.

i’ve spent the last few days sharing music from my los angeles adventure. now it’s time for food and art 🌯🎨

one of my favorite vegan spots is @theveganjoint in dtla.

i ordered the loaded breakfast burrito and, after the owner recommended adding the sausage, i happily took the suggestion. i paired it with a thai iced tea made with soy milk. everything was hella good. even those tortilla chips disappeared fast😋

what made the visit even sweeter was learning about the connection between the restaurant and the artwork that gives the space so much life. the beautiful murals inside and outside were created by @mygo_img, a talented artist and longtime patron of the restaurant. i love seeing artists and small businesses supporting one another and helping create spaces that feel alive and rooted in community.

unfortunately, the exterior mural was vandalized shortly before i arrived. the good news is that mikey is planning to restore it and let me know when it’s finished. when it’s fixed up, i’ll be back for more photos and more grub.

the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous with their time. you know i hate photos of myself but the owner is so dope that i’m lending my mug to this post 🙈 when people are putting this much love into their community, i want to show that love right back.

if you’re in los angeles, or passing through, do yourself a favor and support @theveganjoint. good food, beautiful art, and good people. that’s a combination worth showing up for fasho 💚🌱

peace, love, and liberation.
