Waited 30 years to see @matchboxtwenty. I finally made it to their show at the @myilstatefair, and I definitely didn’t expect to catch a viral piece of rock history from the crowd! Such an unforgettable first show. Absolutely amazing artists, and so glad Paul was okay! 🎸♥️ #MatchboxTwenty #RobThomas #PaulDoucette #concert #matchbox20

This year’s Illinois State Fair has officially come to a close, and I want to thank my incredible staff, volunteers, and all of the fairgoers who helped make it such a success! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent, participated in our events, and took the time to say hello. It was great seeing so many of you and celebrating another Illinois State Fair together! 🎡

Living on the Veg- A Week in Review🌱

A recap of what I’ve been up to, no matter where in the world I am! 🌎

This week from two Midwest locations and Chicago:
-I visited the stunning sunflower fields of @thompsonfarmwi with @visitkenosha 🌻
-Enjoyed some beautiful patio weather at @caffeumbria with a latte and @beacondoughnuts ☕️🍩
-First time at @myilstatefair in Springfield, IL and not only did I get to introduce Governor @jbpritzker to his first ever mango lassi (which he loved BTW🥰), I also got to see the famous butter cow. So much fun and many firsts! 🎡🎢
-The most perfect Saturday morning Pilates class on the terrace of @mirurestaurant at @stregischicago 🫶🏽
-Cousin bagel time at @holybagels.co 🥯
-Finally made it to @barnabyspizza after hearing about it for YEARS! Happy to report it lived up to the hype and we loved it! 🍕
-Took the @chicagowatertaxi to Chinatown!! 🛥️
-Finally also made it to @veggiehousechicago in Chinatown! Loved the veg food including the spicy dumplings and curry fried rice. Can’t wait to come back and try more! 🥟🍛
-As always, photos I’ve snapped of my beautiful city throughout the week📸🩵

Thanks for following along on my adventures and here’s to a great week ahead! 💖

@thechicks opened up their Saturday evening show at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield with the anthemic “March March.” Many thanks to @armstrongpatton for sharing the goodness. 🥁🫡💫

You could’ve convinced me this song was written for George Strait. Loving Ernest’s latest album “Deep Blue” 💙🩵
