New Blog Post: Environmental activist Michael Bardo shares how Training Ground helped him acknowledge his depth within and pursue a career in dance/choreography. Visit our blog to read his reflections (link in bio). “I know a lot of dance training is more concerned with the external form, rather than the internal experience. LINES somehow embraces both at the same time, which is no small feat. Wisdom is embraced here; it’s embodied.” — Michael Bardo (@mykull_bardo), Training Ground artist. Registration for the 2021 fall season of Training Ground is now open. Our newest pre‐professional pathway is perfect for the avid dancer who wants a more serious regimen but may have financial or time constraints. Training Ground is divided into a 3-4 month season, making it accessible for international and domestic students alike. No auditions required. Learn more (link in bio). The above video features Michael Bardo in an excerpt from “Cocoon or Chrysalis- Inside to Out”, a film choreographed and created by Kayla Farrish (@fulloutfarrish) in collaboration with the 2021 Training Ground and Training Program artists.
