two years ago, i was pushing my way through a degree that i wasn’t passionate about, telling myself that fulfillment would eventually come if i just stuck it out. i felt grateful for the opportunity, but deep down i couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. i remember wondering if this was just how work was supposed to feel, heavy and disconnected.

during that season, i couldn’t see a clear path toward a career that felt aligned with who i was. photography was still just a quiet love, something i returned to for comfort and clarity, not something i trusted enough to claim out loud.

and yet, here i am.

i never imagined i’d be able to stand here and say i’ve officially rebranded and stepped into this season as a FULL TIME PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!! (eek!!) this didn’t happen overnight, and it definitely didn’t come without fear. it took faith, obedience, and so many moments of choosing to trust God even when the outcome felt uncertain.

this reintroduction is a reflection of finally living in alignment with the joy God placed inside me. getting to create in His image, to tell stories that matter, and serve others through something that fills me to the brim has been the greatest gift. and the fact that this work now gets to take me new places, new cities, new landscapes, new stories, feels like such a sweet bonus to the calling itself.

thank you to everyone who believed in me before i fully believed in myself. this is only the beginning, and i’m so expectant of what’s still to come 🤍

October 10th was the day five-year-old Mylee and Hannah have been waiting for!!

The lord is way too kind to give me a friendship like the one I have in @myleejanee I’m better because of the way she pushes me to grow, and her constant pursuit. The lord has so kindly moved in both of our lives and our friendship. I’ve been praying for the guy that gets to marry my best friend, and @collin.w.ramsey - the lord never fails to provide abundantly. Truly couldn’t be more thankful to stand by their side on their wedding day, and every day!! THE RAMSEY’S👏👏👏
