This RV said: “What if we just… gave everybody their own space?” 👀

Welcome to the FIRST episode of RV Unlocked 🔓🚐

And we’re starting BIG with the Montana High Country 396BH.

Because if you RV with kids, you already know…

Space = sanity. 😂

This fifth wheel sleeps up to 8
AND has a bunkhouse.
A loft.
Two bathrooms.
Family dining.
An outdoor kitchen.
And a spiral staircase. 👀

Yes. A SPIRAL STAIRCASE. 😂

The 396BH is basically the RV version of:

“Can everyone please just go to their own room?” 😂

And honestly…I’m not mad about it.

The bunkhouse gives the kids their own space.
The loft gives you even MORE sleeping space.
And two bathrooms?

Game changer for family camping.

Because nothing says “family adventure” like four people needing the bathroom at exactly the same time. 😂

I’m also loving the family-friendly layout.

You get a big kitchen and living space without feeling like everyone is sitting on top of each other.

Plus there’s an outdoor kitchen because apparently we’ve decided the inside kitchen wasn’t enough. 😂

This is exactly why I love walking through RVs.

There are SO many floor plans that you would never know existed until you actually step inside.

And sometimes the feature you didn’t think you needed…

Ends up being the one you can’t stop thinking about. 👀

So welcome to RV Unlocked 🔓

Where we’re unlocking the features, floorplans,
weird little RV details, and “WAIT… IT HAS THAT?!” moments
you might miss walking through an RV.

Would you choose a bunkhouse fifth wheel with TWO bathrooms?

Or is that officially too much RV for your family? 👀

Drop UNLOCKED in the comments if you want more RV tours,
floorplan breakdowns, and features you need to know about before buying your next RV! 🚐👇

The classic road trip photo op: Texarkana!

When driving to Texas, you simply have to stop for a selfie in at @myopenroads. Want a sneak peek at what we are doing in TX? Check out in our story.

What’s your must-do stop on a multi-state road trip?

The PA Turnpike has no toll booths anymore... just cameras and Toll By Plate bills in the mail... and when you’re full-time RVers, your mail is... somewhere...

So at the Hershey RV Show we signed up for the Open Roads nationwide toll transponder... one tag, one account, one bill...

It works on E-ZPass roads, SunPass in Florida, PikePass in Oklahoma, TxTag in Texas, FasTrak in California... basically every toll road in the lower 48... and it covers your truck, your RV, and your tow vehicle...

The only one it doesn’t cover is the Mackinac Bridge... that one has its own tag...

$24 a year... and we don’t think about tolls anymore...

If you’re searching for the best RV toll pass or one toll transponder for every state... this is the one we use. Link in bio...

We discovered the Open Roads diesel savings card just in time for our cross country trip back to Washington State! 🚛💨

But first, we’re visiting friends in Bluffton and Savannah, then heading to Charlotte to see our daughter, Kelee! ❤️

We are so glad we found Open Roads! We saved 61¢ per gallon on this fill up, and we’ll be tracking our savings throughout our travels so we can share exactly how much this card saves us along the way!

Want to save on diesel too? Grab our Open Roads referral link:

Every dollar we save on diesel helps make our travels a little less expensive and leaves more money for adventures! 💰🙌🏻
