Had SO much fun creating this one. 🤍✨

A little Snow White moment with a vintage, old-world twist pearls, dramatic interiors, soft femininity and that beautiful bump taking centre stage. 🍎🕯️

I love when maternity gets to feel a little different… less expected, more editorial, more art. This whole session felt like stepping into another era.

Fierce. Wild. Unapologetic. 🤍

New photography category. D&D party candids, mid hilariously poor decision making.. but make it whimsicaly vintage! 🤣 📸
Featuring,

@shan_eileene as Yenna - a ripped AF half orc fighter who joined 5 minutes ago in game and has already been hit on by the bard (me), spilt a drink on herself mid flex and got dragged through a portal by our half blind, rock obsessed dwarf 🤣

@shannn_1111 as Dhonagh - our elderly, mostly blind rock obsessed dwarf Cleric. Who we discovered last night may have been the inspiration for Leroy Jenkins in her younger years and hasn't lost that spirit! 🤣

@mypineapplelife as Captain Sorrel - our no nonsense half elf ranger who shoots first and asks questions later!

And Jonty as Kiri - our cute little elf Wizard who got us in to our current mess by being very protective of her friends! (We forgive her tho coz she feeds us all coffee!) 🤣🤣🤣

Not pictured,
Will, the man human as Sir Vladigan aka Vlad - our giant gold dragonborn paladin /aka the big lizard boy as affectionately name by Lindariel, who takes his vows so seriously hes basically the party shield 😆

Me as Lindariel - a Kalashtar bard whos favourite pass times are looting everything in sight and giving the GM a headache 🤣

And our mastermind of it all @tehburkey who puts up with our madness 😘

A few months back Will and I made the decision for me to put in my notice at work and take some time for myself to give my nervous system a much needed break and focus on finding a bit of joy in my life again. My body and mind wasn't doing well and living in constant chronic illness flares was understandably having a big impact!

I've been unemployed for 2 weeks now and I gotta say..I think it was the best decision I ever made and I couldnt be more grateful to have a husband that supports me to be able to do this, not everyone is so lucky to have this option, and some pretty remarkable friends who somehow haven't got sick of me yet haha.

I know I'll need to find something again soon especially given the state of everything atm but f**k is it nice to just breath again and to be reminded what life can actually be when you aren't in constant burnout.

Some cute photos I snapped from a cute day (Part 2 because I couldn't share them all in part 1 and Instagram doesn't like to post vertical and horizontal images together ..sigh.)

@mypineapplelife and I went and met some cool people and made some yummy Warak Enab bi Zeit at a coeliac safe and free Lebanese cooking class put on by the lovely @judesoussan and @cityofswan to promote @milaaqa_ s new show at @theblueroomtheatre 😜

Valentine’s Day doesn’t look the same for everyone — and that’s exactly what makes it human. 🤍

Today we’re recognising all love.

The friends who become family.
The tiny humans who change your whole world (even when they’re grown).
Grandparents whose love spans generations.
Parents and caregivers who give endlessly.
Siblings who grow alongside you.
Partners who walk every season with you.
The unconditional love of our pets.
Love that doesn’t see distance.
The forever love we carry for those no longer here earthside.
And your village — the quiet magic of community.

Whatever your version of love looks like — you belong here. 🤍

Because life is about connection.
And love, in all its forms, is the deepest thread that binds us.

From our hearts to yours,
holding space for every kind of love this Valentine’s Day. 🤍

✨ Save this as a reminder.
✨ Share it with someone who makes you feel seen.

Finally hung the art in Arthur’s room — something I’ve been meaning to do for months, but it feels extra special now that it’s done. ✨

I wanted him to have a space that feels calm and curious — a little world for reading, dreaming, and exploring. The walls tell our story: a blend of Arabic and English prints, faith and imagination, family and wonder.

There’s a poem from my dad — Arthur’s pops — written just for him. From a submariner to the only boy he knows who was literally born underwater. 🐋💙
And we hung his first prayer mat — a beautiful gift from my sister-in-law, carried all the way back from Mecca.

It’s soft and grounding and full of meaning — a little sanctuary for a boy who already sees the world with such wide eyes. 🌙✨
