Hello, Monday! ☕️

Sharing a little holiday flair in our guest bedroom in this perfect basket from @basketsbygin. The precious Prudence doll is made in Ireland by my sweet friend Maggie ~ @myprimitivecapedream. And I am admittedly a big fan of Family Heirloom Weavers… a little too apparent in this photo. 😅

A friend I haven’t been able to spend time with in years is coming for a visit this week! I can’t wait!🙌🏼

See stories for more of our kitchen update! Have a great day!♥️

Our itty bitty guest room is just about ready for our company! I love how cozy it has turned out. 🥰

I redid the mule chest and we made the shelf to compliment so many special pieces in this room. 🤎

Have a lovely day!🌻

Anxiously awaiting my new old dress form from Debbie @theoldpicketfence
.
I have a thing for old dress forms. This is the first place I have been without one in 3 states.
When we moved from PA and I had to close my shop, I left my last one with my friend Megan @farmhouse5540 She tore off a strange fabric that I hadn’t gotten to removing and made her a beautifully rough and rustic lady. Bare cardboard. Beautiful texture. Gorgeous color.
Now I’m ready for a new gal and she’s waiting for me to come bring her home. She will have plenty of company with the old, stiff collars, antique undergarments, textile tools and haberdashery notions waiting patiently here.
In my excitement, I have loaded my stories with lots of accounts that enjoy dress forms as much as I do, and a shot of Megan’s shop #farmhousesupply
.
By the way, I always name my forms. The last one I displayed was named “girlfriend”. Inspire a girl for what to call her new companion.
.
Blessings Friends ♥️

Happy Monday, sweet friends! ☕️

I’m sharing my very special Irish lass, Miss Prudence, made by the very talented Maggie @myprimitivecapedream. Made from @modafabrics Civil War reproduction prints, the detail that has gone into her and her bird friend are outstanding! After the long journey from Ireland, she’s at her new forever home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Maggie! She is so special to me. 🤎

Today I’m working on finishing up all the wood pieces for tomorrow evening’s selling event in the Etsy shop! Stay tuned here and @the_primitive_merchant_ for previews today and tomorrow. Bowl racks/shelves, peg rails, blanket cranes, specialty eggs and a few restocks are what you can look forward to and you won’t want to miss out on these beauties! 🤩

Have a great day and a wonderful week, my friends! 🐰🌷🐝🌱
