We celebrate Jamaica everyday at @kamilaskitchen_ja , but this week is extra special 🥰🇯🇲

Todays ‘Taste Of Jamaica’ is our Ackee And ‘Not Saltfish,’ Breadfruit, Callaloo and Plantain (that we bought from @myrepeatoffender ‘s farm🥰👑🌟)

For our Saltfish replacement we seasoned up some Young Jackfruit with Nori sheets, onions, escellion, tomato, thyme, scotchie, and a whole lot of love…in true Jamaican style 🙂♥️

Please note we will be CLOSED for Independence Day tomorrow at all locations, and reopen on Friday. See you soooooon 🍽️🌱

GRATITUDE DIARY 🌿
The slower moments I didn’t know I needed.

Spent the weekend in St. Mary with one of my closest friends watching her build something so intentional from the ground up - from farming on the land to creating a space that feels peaceful, grounding and full of heart. And honestly, it inspired me.

Slower mornings, meaningful conversations, food grown with care, community, nature and the kind of beauty that reminds you to pause for a second and just be present.

I left with a full heart, a calmer mind and a reminder to not get so lost in the noise that we forget what really matters 🇯🇲

I think this is the kind of morning we all need 🌿
No rush, no noise… just fresh food, good company, nature and living in the moment. Breakfast straight from the backyard, slow conversations and the simple kind of joy that feels good for the soul 🇯🇲

Heading into this new week reminding myself not to get too lost in the noise. Life really is about the simple moments, the people around you and being present enough to enjoy it all.🤎

A likkle taste of April. What a month. What a life.🫶🏽✈️🌴

From Jamaica to Vegas, farm days in between, late nights, early workouts and still showing up for myself every single time… a little bit of everything and then some 🤍

April made me feel like I can actually do it all.
Just grateful for the balance… I’m finding it.🤞🏽

The location helped but the conversation we had before we got here is what made it click!
