Another year, another amazing @tacowarsusa !

@sundayatgrams had a blast as we competed with other chefs for the title of best taco. Not looking to cause confusion , we chose to continue to spread Philly love and to show how proper cheesesteak is made. This time, it was just on a lil street taco tortilla.
•
•
Of course we spotted a Cliff Lee jersey in the crowd, a beautiful Birds Superbowl tattoo, and had a run in with the @phillies team Dr from the 80s who blessed us with an amazing Ivan DeJesus , Larry Bowa, and Pete Rose story.
•
•
Seeing the crew from @juicyfoodssantafe , @apicklelypse505 , @3rdeyesantafe @myrkrfellforge , was a treat, and we were fortunate to be next to our favorite destination @lospoblanos . And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without amazing photos and coverage by @gofrenchyourself . Special thanks to @theliquidmuse for including us again, and congrats to the man @chef_ray_naranjo for placing once again.

Date night at @brujas_pizza with all the focus on the new BBQ chicken pizza!

That BBQ sauce is the star: smoky, slightly sweet, generously layered so it settles into the crust and melts right into the cheese. Comforting, indulgent, and absolutely the reason to order it. Tender chicken, a well-baked crust with just enough char, and a balance that keeps you reaching for another slice.

I didn’t bring the camera—some nights are meant to be lived, not styled.

Good pizza, low light, and a proper excuse to take the new shoes out on the town!

Exactly the kind of date night that reminds you why simple plans are often the best ones.

BTS at work.

An evening rooted in intention.

A glowing pizza oven, hands busy, easy laughter, conversations unfolding without effort. Time moved differently with the @brujas_pizza team. Thoughtful, grounded, and genuinely fun to be around. The kind of collaboration that feels aligned, not forced. So excited to edit all this content this weekend!

Best kind of night.

If you love sourdough pizza, this is one you need to know 🍕✨ Brujas Pizza is tucked inside @chompsantafenm and just rolled out a new menu with chef Charlie. Over the holiday weekend, I came with my girlfriends to share a meal, catch up, and enjoy the last moments of the holidays together.

Naturally fermented sourdough crust, premium local ingredients, and classic flavors done really well. The sourdough is made by his wife, @chefbckyfreeman - a decorated Santa Fe pastry chef — and it shows.

We ordered drinks from the full bar at Chomp and shared oven-roasted wings (Red Chile BBQ + @apicklelypse505 Drop Zone), The One for Tony (a Sopranos nod that made me very happy), pepperoni, and carne adovada pizza. The wings were so good I took some home for my husband — our resident wing aficionado — and he approved.

You can also order @brujas_pizza at @nmcider their sister restaurant. Cozy, easy, and perfect for pizza casual nights. 🍷🍕

So obsessed with pizza!

Thrilled for Charlie and the team, in the kitchen and clearly in their element.

Date night at @brujas_pizza last night and settled in at @chompsantafenm , watching dough being tossed while pizzas moved from hands to oven in a steady rhythm. It’s one of those meals where you feel connected to what’s happening around you—not rushed, not staged, just real craft unfolding in front of you.

As a hospitality photographer, I was genuinely excited to sit there and watch them work. The pace, the focus, the confidence behind the line—it all matters. Being able to taste the pizza while witnessing that process made the experience feel complete, and it left me already imagining how beautifully this team will photograph. I can’t wait to shoot these guys early next year.

Everything here is made from scratch, and it shows. The foundation matters, and the dough tells the story: it’s chef Rebecca Freeman’s sourdough recipe—his wife, and a truly formidable pastry chef in town. There’s depth and balance in every bite.

We tried the Santa Fe Chicken with white sauce, roasted chicken, green chile, avocado, and cilantro; the Adovada layered with red chile, mozzarella, cheddar, and oven-roasted pork; and the Pesto Veggie with charred tomato, seasonal mushrooms, artichokes, and pickled hot peppers. Each pie felt considered and confident without overreaching.

Already on my radar for next time: the Mayas Mushroom with local mushrooms, roasted onions, fresh herbs, and truffle oil—and the oven-roasted beets with pecorino, herbs, balsamic vinaigrette, romaine, and fresh focaccia.

This is pizza built on intention, rhythm, and restraint, by a team that knows exactly what they’re doing.

Hell yeah brother 🤘🏻

Huge thank you to High Desert Markets for a very successful String of Lights 2025. Such a great event and community booster.

Needed this. I dont take many photos, but this one was too good to not post. Professional business hooligans being professionally photographed.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, even to just say hi.

Thank you to @robitdex and @myrkrfellforge for being my Dawgs, and always lightening the load.

Thank you to @sundayatgrams for being one of the hardest working, solid, inspirational human beings, who always checks in. You're a real one.

Three more markets in the next two weeks, for 2025. Come get some sauce, from the hot sauce guy. I love what I do, and hope to share what I'm proud of, with you.
