🌊 Looking for the perfect place to stay in Myrtle Beach?

The right place to stay can turn a good vacation into an unforgettable one.

That’s why we’re excited to launch a new series on the Travel Lite Rentals blog, where we’ll be highlighting some of our favorite places to stay along the Grand Strand, local businesses we love, and the people who help make Myrtle Beach such a special place to visit.

Our first feature takes you inside Ocean Reef Resort and introduces you to Greg at Myrtle Beach Bliss…a local owner dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for families visiting our beautiful coast.

If you’re planning a Myrtle Beach getaway (or simply dreaming about one ☀️), we think you’ll enjoy this local spotlight!

It is no secret that we love to travel via coffee and donut shop, but did you know that Myrtle Beach has some amazing locally owned coffee shops? While we did not make it to any of the North Myrtle shops on my list, we hit six fantatstic shops!
☕️
@beachhippiecoffee : 5311 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Not to be confused with their gift shop, the coffee shop is a total vibe! We got coffees to-go and sat on the beach with them.
☕️
@brownfoxcoffeebox : 3979-4123 Marsh Walk, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
A coffee trailer located just off the boardwalk, we loved the Mexican Mocha. Sweet, spicy, and iced; it was the perfect boardwalk-walk companion
☕️
@grandstrandcoffee : 2954 Howard Ave Unit E, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Grand Strand was on my list out of the gate; roasting their own beans, highlighting unique flavors, and offering pastries. Come for the banana pudding latte, stay for the lemon poundcake!
☕️
@tidalcreekbrew : 3421 Knoles St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Located in Market Common, Tidal Creek is a dual coffee shop and brewery. We particularly loved the kids play space. But, I was blown away by the Malt-Chiato; a sweetened upside down latte infused with malt extracts
☕️
@thecabanasc : 8012 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572
An ice cream and coffee shop, this was very convenient to The Dunes. We went through the drive thru and brought the latte home for some porch junking-post beach.
☕️
@hificoffeebarmb : 918a N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Located on the Boardwalk, Hi-Fi is very music inspired (and sells records). I snagged a Southern Comfort, a carmel-bourbon latte, and was really obbsessed with the salted carmel cold foam!
☕️
Cost: All drinks were reasonably priced ($4.85-$6.25) and specialties. Be sure to save and share for your next Myrtle vaca!

Over the past two years, I’ve been dedicated to building @myrtlebeachbliss and have learned a lot about southern hospitality.

I’ve posted a link to the website in my bio, featuring all the latest photos, and I’m excited to announce that the full version, which will allow you to book directly, will be launching soon.
