Miami, you were incredible.

Yesterday was such a beautiful reminder of why I love getting out from behind the screen and into rooms like this.

We talked about perfectionism, overachievement, the relentless pursuit of “more,” and what it actually looks like to build a life that feels as good as it looks.

But more than anything, we CONNECTED.

Thank you to everyone who came, asked the big questions, shared so openly and made this room what it was. And a huge thank you to Mysha for bringing us all together.

And speaking of Mysha… we’re doing it again.

Last night was a reminder that sometimes the most important “yes” is the one you say before you even know why.

When @marikafrumes personally reached out and told me I had to be there to hear Keren Eldad speak, I said yes immediately without any hesitation.

And I’m so happy I did.

We spend so much of our lives chasing the next milestone, building the business, checking the boxes, being the person everyone can count on, and striving to become the next version of ourselves.

But what happens when you get everything you thought you wanted… and still feel like something is missing?

Keren calls it the “gilded cage”: a life that looks incredible on the outside but can quietly become a prison of ambition, perfectionism, and the relentless pursuit of more.

As a founder, a mother, and someone who has spent years exploring what it truly means to heal, I know how easy it is to confuse achievement with fulfillment.

You can build a life that looks successful to everyone else and still feel disconnected from yourself. I was an absolute pro at that until my body completely gave out on me… and I had to spend years piecing it back together again.

The question isn’t whether you’re capable of doing more.

It’s whether you’re willing to question why you feel you have to.

Maybe freedom isn’t about achieving the next thing.

Maybe it’s about finally realizing you’re allowed to be enough before you do.

Thank you, Marika, for the nudge. And thank you, @coachkeren, for the reminder that a beautiful life on paper and a deeply fulfilling life are not always the same thing. 🤍

@marikafrumes made that promise to herself in middle school, a few years after her family arrived in Boston from the former Soviet Union with $400. Today she’s the founder of @myshapods, a community for mothers that started as a WhatsApp group of 18 expecting moms in January 2020.

We recorded this the morning after co-hosting a dinner together in Austin. Marika opened up about her childhood, the difference between a community and a group, and what it takes to build real belonging.

Created by @reshmasaujani and the team at @momsfirstus, the film gets into the policy changes mothers need to truly thrive. And one message is clear:

stop pitting moms against each other.

We don’t need more judgment. We don’t need to prove who’s doing motherhood “right.” We need each other. 🙏🏼

And if you’re wondering… you actually don’t need a room full of people to host a screening! You only need to have more than one person - because watching this together is exactly the point. Community is how conversations and change starts. 🤍 It’s the only way we can move forward.

Last night was a big night for @nourish.mother! We hosted our first live event at @hatchgal in their beautiful boutique on Bleecker Street in downtown NYC. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, check them out!

My deepest gratitude to @myshapods for inviting us to collaborate on such a special evening. It was incredibly meaningful to meet other mothers, share our experiences, and nourish them with our food.

I never truly understood the power of the motherhood bond until I had a child of my own. The love and support mothers give to one another becomes a lifeline, creating a beautiful, virtuous circle in which we all feel a little more held.

I also made a wonderful new friend, Bailey of @tranquila_co, who is an amazing doula, among so many other things.

Thank you, @edenrider_, for welcoming us and giving Nourish Mother the opportunity to share our food with your very special community. I can’t wait for more!

I moved from NYC to Austin and realized pretty quickly: I needed my people !!

And as a mom it’s so important to find women in the same season of life - who love their kids, love what they do, and also love getting out of the house.

Thats when I found @myshapods 🥂 it has not only given me a social life in a new city, but (more importantly), a community.

And now I’m a Mysha Curator here in Austin 🤍
helping build the kind of community I was looking for when I got here.

NYC gave me some pretty incredible women 🙏🏼 and I’m excited to bring a little of that energy (and a few of those connections) to Austin.

Because of @myshapods I was able to find my people in this new city immediately! Now I get to help other women find theirs. 🤍
