Hello Everyone! ⛅️🌤️

We've had two really cozy evenings with each other with very little cooking and lots of cuddling and watching TV or reading!

We hope you all are taking the time to start unwinding and spending some 💖 time with loved ones!

This week, we made something from one of our Week 1 Nov 2022 Meal Plans and we were delightfully surprised that we enjoyed it so much!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

The last of our celebrations for Diwali happened this weekend. We celebrated with our community and had so much fun!

This week a friend of mine @c_u_b_t_r_a_i_l_ spoke about how she wanted to incorporate a variety of colors in cooking for her daughter! 👨‍👩‍👧 I think we all need the benefits of having a mixed variety of veggies & fruits.

Seeing my nutritionist @annaliisakapp helped me in balancing my macronutrients - her guides and notes are something I continuously return back to every month. She provides a lot of useful information on her blog and Instagram!

Please share the ❤️ with the amazing bloggers below and give them a follow!

It was indeed Dum aloo in the previous post! Presenting Kashmiri Dum aloo, prepared with simply baby potatoes, yoghurt mix and a good amount of red chilli powder!

This dish is called dum aloo because it was/ is cooked traditionally over low heat in earthenware vessels. This is a traditional indian dish with its origins in North of India, specially Jammu and Kashmir.

Such a good dish to serve with some hot puris or some rice!

Cooking time: 30min
Difficulty level : Medium

Lasooni Corn Palak - recipe by @myspicetrunk

The pictures don’t do the color justice (and I refuse to use filters on my food pics), it was so vibrant! And it tasted even better 😋

This was really fun to make, I hadn’t ever built a curry from scratch. Also I love the color, flavor, and nutrients the spinach added. I’ll definitely be checking out the My Spice Trunk website for more recipes!
