Just a guy trying to mod his car…
BMW E46 320ci

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The BMW E46 320ci has now been sold. Over my 2 months ownership it has come a long way! From an oil leaking, fuel smelling and rough bodywork example, I have transformed it to a pretty tidy example which now reflects its age and beauty better. Oil leaks were fixed using genuine BMW OEM gaskets for the rocker cover and oil filter housing. A new Vanos oil feed line together with fresh oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, coolant flush, brake fluid and new OEM fuel lines and fuel filter made it mechanically sound. The rough bodywork was treated to a respray and repair of rusty rear wheel arches. The interior was deep cleaned to bring the amazing red exclusive leather back to life. A new gear knob and heating control bracket improved the driving experience. Fresh BMW roundals gave the old car a tidier look and to get it autumn and winter ready, a hard top was acquired! In all of this madness, in two months I’ve still been able to enjoy it to its fullest by driving it daily in what has been the best UK summer and I managed to put 2.5k miles on it! Back to its previous owner now to enjoy again!

New project incoming - watch this space!
