Not just sitting around talking about what you should be doing with your content.

We actually DO IT. In this video...

@anastasiascrown1 went LIVE on TikTok for the very first time.

Cassandra of @myteasnob got in front of the camera and delivered a KILLER positioning statement. Because we position AND pitch over here.

And Sonya of @ivorypearls73 stepped further into the content scene and started learning one of my favorite lessons: EVERYTHING is content!

The laptop,conversation, behind-the-scenes & thr work you’re already doing.

You don’t always need to CREATE a moment for content. Sometimes you need to recognize the content that’s already happening around you.

Somewhere between all of that, women were connecting, laughing, sharing ideas, going live, getting footage and just being themselves. It’s more than just about making money for me, building genuine connections & community is valuable.

Not another event where you leave with a notebook full of things you’re going to do one day. We work.

And we’re doing it again.

If you missed this one, join my email list! That’s where you’ll hear about the next Content & Connections first.

Until next time! 💋

Gratitude deserves to be JUST as public as the celebration.

One of the hardest parts about being an independent artist is asking people to believe in something they can’t fully see yet.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been delivering flowers and handwritten thank-you notes to many of the incredible community partners who helped bring my first headlined show to life. While I wasn’t able to personally thank everyone, this reel is my way of giving flowers to every business, creative, and supporter who helped make my FIRST headlined show possible.

To everyone who believed in me before there was proof…THANK YOU!!! Your support wasn’t just a contribution to one night. It was an investment in a dream, and I’ll never forget it. 🤍🌹

July will always hold a special place in my heart!! I’m excited to see what August brings next… ✨

The love has been REAL. 🖤

Thank you to every business that’s already partnered with this show. And the craziest part? We’ve still got more community partners to announce.

July 3 can’t get here fast enough. 🎤✨

This is not a challenge. It's a practice.

There is no day one. No streak to protect. No falling behind.

This quiet reset will be here on the hard Tuesdays. The Sunday nights that feel too heavy. The mornings you wake up depleted.

No pressure to keep up. No rules about how to use it. Just quiet lessons over a cup of tea that give you permission to slow down and reconnect to yourself one quiet moment at a time.

You now have permission to:
Brew something and sit down.

Celebrating Women’s HERstory Month 💖

I was so fortunate to have a mom who always reassured me, grounded me, and reminded me of who I was, even in moments when I didn’t quite have the words for it myself. That kind of love and guidance shaped the woman I’ve become today.

As we come to the end of celebrating Women’s HERstory Month, my love and support is with all of the female-owned businesses out there. The women who took a leap of faith, who continue to show up, who pour into their dreams even on the hard days, you inspire me.

At SugaringNYC-Murfreesboro, we believe in the power of women supporting women. Women in business aren’t just building brands, we’re building communities, creating opportunities, and lifting each other higher every step of the way.

When women support women, incredible things happen.

Happy Women’s History Month❤️ Love, Karen #womensupportingwomen

When's the last time you bought from a Black-owned business?

We love supporting Black-owned businesses by hosting at Black-owned venues, partnering with Black makers, amplifying Black entrepreneurs in content and gifting Black-founded products when possible.

Here are some of the Black- founded products we are loving right now! Let us know in the comments what products you're loving, too. ⬇️

Check out the L2L blog for a list of Black- owned businesses to support all year long in the link in our bio.

🌸 A Huge Thank You to Tea Snob! 🌸
for generously donating to our Customer Appreciation Raffle and for being such an incredible vendor last Sunday!

If you were lucky enough to experience Tea Snob at our event, you already know — their blends are so much more than tea.

Tea Snob was created from a craving for ritual — for a quiet moment to slow down, reconnect, and feel whole again. Every blend is handcrafted with intention, using nature’s own medicine cabinet. Their herbs restore, soothe, and support you from the inside out.

These aren’t just teas… they’re an invitation to pause, to breathe deeply, and to come home to yourself. Every sip brings calm to the mind, support to the body, and a ripple of care through your day.

We are so grateful for their generosity, their presence, and the beautiful energy they brought to our event. 💗✨

Thank you, Tea Snob, for being part of our SugaringNYC–Murfreesboro family!
