Yesterday was amazing. So many speak about their love for the community but who really puts on for their community like @mytriberise and @first_to_third_ ? We’ve walked through minefields, been led down twisty roads, challenged and tested on so many levels. But just like these beautiful homes are going up one by one and our community begins to gain traction, we have been here, working, passionate, giving back, rebuilding and doing our part to keep the smile on the youths faces…. Yesterday was special because it brought so much bond and growth between everyone. The tourney was successful and filled with fun and laughter, there were even some tears as it all came to a close. We do this once per year right here in our community. Just imagine if the community actually comes out and fills up the park? Like my good friend @jesseowins always says “Thank you for paying attention to our work”. It was a blessing. Shot out to @mytriberise @heavenlyhughes @goldie.665 @pasadenamayorgordo @weoutherealtadena @goodeating626 @lazylemonade_ @swiftbrewco Big shot out to @mytriberise for collaborating with us once again to bring success to such event. Congratulations to this year’s champion! the “Dena Marlins” You guys played well all day long and ran the gambit undefeated!! 🏆🏆🏆 Well played team @weoutherealtadena @a.mikelee.joint @playcentralaltadena @first_to_third_ @altadenabaseballacademy Next years tourney will be SATURDAY OCT 23rd 2027. Mark your calendars and get your teams ready. #Homematters #Community #Youth #Baggornot

❤️ DEAR SACRAMENTO, IT’S US AGAIN! 📸 Hey DENA fam, come hang out with us this afternoon! Remember those trips to Sacramento? The bus rides, the marches, the conversations with lawmakers, and all those neighbors standing shoulder to shoulder? Well, Mykle Parker was there with his camera, documenting our community showing up. Now she is bringing those photographs home to share with YOU! 📸 Come see Mykle Parker's photographs. Find familiar faces, remember the moments, and celebrate what we've accomplished together. 💌 Sign a postcard to Sacramento! Let's thank the legislators who stood with fire survivors and helped pass important bills. And let's remind them, gently but firmly, that we're still here, we're paying attention, and we're not going away! Stay a while! Enjoy light refreshments, catch up with neighbors, share a story, and learn how we can keep supporting one another. This isn't just about politics. It's about neighbors looking out for neighbors, making sure our voices are heard, and helping shape the future of the place we call home. 📅 TODAY! Saturday, October 24 ⏰ 3–6 PM 📍 DENA Heals 300 E. Colorado Blvd., Suite 151, Pasadena ❤️ FREE EVENT | RSVP via Eventbrite or just drop in. Whether you made the trip to Sacramento or cheered us on from home, you're part of this story. Let's keep the conversation going. ❤️ #DearSacramento #ItsUsAgain #DenaRiseUp #AltadenaStrong #EatonFireSurvivors #NeighborsHelpingNeighbors #DenaHeals #ExtremeWeatherSurvivors
