Meet our performers: Myah Seay (she/her)!

Hi! My name is Myah Seay and I’m a junior acting major from the south side of Chicago. Performing is everything to me and has been ever since I was 8 years old. Outside of acting, I’m an astrologer, small business owner, influencer, and dog mom. I’m so excited to be part of this showcase!

This #throwback reminds you that if you missed our showcase last week, you can still watch it on YouTube by searching 2021 Nuestra Gente Spring Showcase!

Happy opening. This semester I was in a production of The Wolves by Sarah Delappe and I couldn’t have picked a better show for my last undergrad production. This cast and crew are some of the kindest and most talented people I’ve ever met and I’m so glad I got a chance to meet them. It’s available until this Sunday 4/26 at 11:59! Link in Bio
Make sure to watch in HD and turn on the closed captions.

Have you seen “Concrete” yet?! Check the link in my bio for the most recent short film I was in! This has been one of the most exciting projects I’ve been involved in for a while, and I’m so glad that I was able to collaborate with other artists safely to tell such a compelling and thought provoking story! Thank you Porsha for your clear vision and fun energy, and to the talented cast and crew who made this all possible!

Toybox is over. We did it. I loved doing it and I was so lucky to be with all these talented people. I will miss the practices and laughs together. Toybox was a once in a lifetime experience and I just so happened to be apart of it. Turns out I made some friends along the way that have taught me so much. It was amazing to be in such a great play, even better to leave it with great friends. Love you guys.❤️🥺
