The original was a masterclass in liquid funk.

This remix by an anonymous trio known only as Inkwell hits a lot of the same notes but swaps some of the funk of the original for an ominous reese-based roller, hitting a more melancholic vibe: https://www.junodownload.com/products/full-spectrum-drum-bass-2026/7513499-02/

A year in the making. Refined to the last detail.

It’s finally here.

‘Starcrossed Love’ tells the story of two souls drawn together despite timing, distance or circumstance standing in their way.

It explores love in its most honest and vulnerable form; real, alive and meaningful, even when it exists against the odds.

Sonically, Starcrossed Love pairs uplifting, melodic progressions with an airy, ethereal soundscape. Rolling breaks drive the rhythm, while deep basslines anchor the emotion. The vocals float gently above the mix, adding intimacy and warmth, giving the track both club energy and emotional depth.

Balancing liquid funk momentum with heartfelt storytelling, Starcrossed Love is designed for late-night listening, emotional playlists, and moments where music becomes a reflection of lived experience, not just sound.

Thank you @humanaturednb @dnb.academy for helping elevate this to where it needed to be.
