At Home With Reilly & Chris (pt. 3) R+C have two dogs and a fenced in yard was important to them. One of the first things they did was fully enclose their yard with a cedar fence and it’s now a space they enjoy gardening (so much kale!) relaxing and hanging out with friends. Golden hour lighting, a little orange wine they picked up from their favorite @littletonsmarket and the perfect place for them to unwind after the day. This is what it’s all about! ☀️

This Summer has been seriously non-stop, but one day I was especially looking forward to was earlier this week assisting @n.folchi at this beautifully designed home by @willandblu_interiors. I pinch myself every time I get to be in the aura of these magically talented women. They make the final product look effortless, but the amount of work and decision-making that is involved in a project of this scale is something to be studied. Forever grateful for a dream team like this !!

Almost immediately into becoming a mom, while working full time and adjusting to a body I no longer recognized, I started to find getting dressed so draining. So I stopped thinking in outfits and started thinking in formulas: the same handful of combinations, built from pieces I already own, that work no matter what kind of day I’m having. From there, A Day with Kate was born. My experience is not a unique one. It’s felt by women across the globe going through similar life transitions. Talking with you all every day helped me realize that my work needed to be shared in a real way. Today that work has evolved into two professionally shot and designed outfit guides: one for everyday life, one for a changing, growing body. The new guide, The Expecting Outfit Formula Guide, is especially poignant as it captures such a vulnerable time and makes it feel manageable. I wish I had this when my boys were born, to keep me grounded and feeling more myself in such a crazy time of change. FOUR YEARS · Today marks four years of my freelance journey. This year has been my busiest yet...by far. More clients, more content shoots, more travel, more strategy sessions, more coffee. It has also been a year of growth, learning, and being reminded to choose trust over control. I feel so incredibly lucky to spend my days helping incredible businesses tell their stories, grow their communities, and show up online with confidence. It doesn’t feel like work most days and I don’t take that for granted. To every client who has trusted me with your business, every person who has referred me, shared my work, or cheered me on over the past four years, thank you.
