All good things must come to an end…

After 13 unforgettable years, I’m saying goodbye to something that was not just a sport — it was my whole life. It taught me how to fall, keep going, and dream big. Representing my country at EYOF and Junior Grand Prix was beyond anything I imagined and I’m so grateful for everyone I met on this journey. Loving something for so long can be exhausting. Along the way I realized it was time to take care of myself. Walking away wasn’t easy, but it felt necessary.

Thank you to my coaching team @bkvdenbosch @xcaya @nelum_boom for the past 4 years, to @coach.ianconnolly and the CP2R staff for having me during summers and to @ekaterina.ivleva.guarise for doing my programs years in the row. A special thank you to @ivanaicegirl @melita_cuhalov @mirna_libra who I literally grew up with. I will carry all the special memories in my heart with me❤️
And lastly a huge thank you to @fvkempen for standing by me at my last competition and nationals ever🥈, believing in me through the hardest moments and creating programs I truly loved. Working with you meant more to me than I can put into words and I’m so happy that our work together isn’t done yet…

Even though this might feel like the end, it’s just an end of a big chapter but there is another one just starting for me…
3 months ago I wanted to try new things. I joined the most amazing team that healed me in many ways possible. Skating is too hard to let go, which is why I’m so excited to say that I will continue skating with @teamiceunitedjunior . This era has been waiting for me for a while now and I can’t wait to see where all this will take me next.

Did not really go to plan, which unfortunately made me not able to finish off the last week and a half, but once I take a brief break I plan to return well and healthy, hopefully in time before the season starts.
