feeling extremely grateful i got to do what i love with the people i love, in a city i love. to everyone who came out on sunday, i can’t tell you how thankful i am.

the BIGGEST thanks to N5 Kitchen for being the most incredible cafe in london and letting us host our dream little pop-up there. to Emma for being the superstar she is. smashing out all the drinks, including the best filter i’ve ever had from @missioncoffeeworks and hot coffees from @vagabondcoffeeroasters all day long. also, baking the most perfect choux, chocolate tarts, and cookies, all while being her lovely self and supporting everyone. Lana, thanks for creating your delicious little salt bread, Bolo bao, and apricot cake.

and to all our incredible friends who helped: Daniel 🥹 for making the best shrub and iced tea i’ve quite literally ever tasted; ella for prepping and cleaning 💪💪; and Beth for being a foh superstar ⭐️

📍 Three coffee shops in Clerkenwell you must try.

☕ @1930coffee_london - I found this place after a quick Google, and it was brilliant. It's an independent coffee company with a shop, online store and roasting lab. They roast in small batches, delivering a beautifully smooth coffee. Perfect spot to grab my first flat white of the day from.

☕ @goswellroadcoffee - I didn't try the coffee here, I actually just picked up a pastel de nata but watching them brew, you know it'll be good. The space is super inclusive with a big community feel, mismatched furniture and kind staff. Kinda felt like walking into your friends living room.

☕ @n5kitchen - I found this by stumbling past a pop up sign and I'm so glad I did. The barista I spoke to was so lovely, the cookies were exceptional and the coffee? Delicious. Would love to visit the original site one day but in the meantime, the pop up is a great addition to the area.

Three coffee shops in one morning wander around London might seem excessive but it's my favourite thing to do when I'm in a new area. Have you tried any of these?

N5 Kitchen didn’t begin with a business plan. It began in a family kitchen.

What started as private dinners and canapé parties between university friends Milly and Suzie has grown into one of London’s most-loved catering businesses, a neighbourhood café and an expanding office lunch business.

In our latest interview, Suzie reflects on leaving finance for food, building a business with her best friend, and why sometimes the most important step is simply getting started.
