BBD is built on DISCIPLINE, OWNERSHIP, and LEADERSHIP.

These three core values are The BBD Standard. They’re qualities that will help you become a better basketball player, but more importantly, they’ll help shape your character beyond the game.

The following three players consistently displayed these standards throughout their time with BBD.

The ability to work on your game CONSISTENTLY is what leads to real improvement.

Luke showed up for all 7 sessions ready to get better. His attention to detail, willingness to be coached, and desire for extra reps, proved his commitment to becoming a DISCIPLINED young man. 💪🏼

Our mentors are here to guide, teach, and challenge our players. But real development only happens when the player takes responsibility for their own growth.

Hunter displayed OWNERSHIP every week by arriving early to get shots up with his father, coming into each session ready to learn, and bringing energy that helped raise the level of the group around him.🔥

The best LEADERS not only hold themselves to a high standard, but also demand those expectations from their peers.

Will embraced both DISCIPLINE and OWNERSHIP in his approach to getting better, and that naturally made him a great example for those around him. He consistently brought effort, focus, and a willingness to help others, while also being one of the most vocal players in the gym.🫡
