It’s #WorldPhotographyDay and instead of sharing photos I keep holding off to post, or my favorite shots. I am going to take the time to recognize some impactful people in my sports and motorsports photography journey.

This literally started with a @shineprova night meet. I didn’t know a single person. Just showed up and started shooting cars. Had no idea how to frame car meets. Just kept showing up to them and learned. Met some awesome people along the way and the community just started showing their support. So thank you to all the locals and countless events that granted me credentials.

For most of the people in photos, you guys have had a huge impact on my growth and couldn’t have ask for better people to annoy with my daily, weekly, hourly, questions.

And can’t forget to thank my biggest fan, @supbruss

P.S. yes, we all like our jobs, even if we aren’t smiling! 😂

This time last year I was heartbroken, grieving and feeling utterly helpless. I couldn’t imagine myself ever really feeling happy again and frankly, I wanted to cancel my life subscription. It took a lot for me to dig myself out of the pit of despair I was settled in. I was going through what the mystics call the “dark night of the soul”. Now, most people would call this woo woo nonsense, but in any case, I went through it. It hasn’t been an easy experience, and old me would do anything to just ignore my feelings and disassociate to avoid the uncomfortable process of growth as an individual.
I’m happy I didn’t give up and I’m still learning to be a better me for me and not for others. I like this new me and I think my mom would be proud of me.

The wait is over.

We had an awesome opportunity for local photographer, @n8_frames to come share his craft with us and we couldn’t resist showing off our newest gym with the community.

An enormous amount of work goes into opening a gym and we can’t thank everyone enough that has played a part in bringing this space to life.

We hope you are as excited as we are.
