Trampoline was a song used by Mind the Gap in their 2020 Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) competition set. Having arranged the majority of this piece, I wanted to preserve it in a produced capacity while also getting to showcase Katie's amazing vocals! This was one of the last two pieces I produced on Audacity before transitioning to Pro Tools, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, given all the features Audacity lacks. I'm currently in the middle of revisiting this 2022 project by porting everything to Pro Tools and making it sound as professional as I can! I'll be posting it here once it's done, so please stay tuned for that!

You can watch Mind the Gap's entire LAAF set on YouTube at this link: https://youtu.be/EIM5nzC-1hc?si=OGAnvixXIFwKXJ-B

Dramatic

Dramatic is one of the most interesting projects I've ever worked on! Not only did this project help me learn the ins and outs of Ableton Live, but it gave me a chance to collaborate with one of my best friends, KuLaLa! We had worked on some smaller projects earlier on, but this was the first piece for each of us where we composed the song entirely from scratch via MIDI synthesis and sequencing, as opposed to using sample loops! It was especially educational for me, given that my expertise is typically in contemporary pop a cappella music. Always wishing him the best!

Always did have a procrastination problem (blame BLS)

Graduated from Howard University School of Social Work:

- Magna Cum Laude (4.0)
- Phi Alpha honors Society
- passed my licensure exam (big LGSW)
- got the job and secured the bag

If you knew me prior, I said I wanted to be a lawyer, but I much prefer this path. Shoutout to Northstar. Appreciate everyone I met on this journey. I am where I need to be 🦭

What an absolute PLEASURE it was getting to serve with this team of quality people this past weekend ♥️♥️

I’ve had the honor of leading music teams for Fall Conference/Retreat for five-ish years now and it never gets old. Jesus is good, making music with fun + talented friends is good, and being witnesses to and participants in students’ experiences with God is gooooood 👌🏼 10/10 would recommend. Come on a trip down memory lane with me + swipe for some top tier pics at the end hahah
