Teaching Artist Breakfast 2025–26

This week, Arts Education Connection San Diego gathered our amazing Teaching Artists for our annual breakfast at the @mingeimuseum in Balboa Park. We are so appreciative of our partnership with Mingei and their support in bringing our community together.

Together we:
☑️ Shared the state of the organization and upcoming plans
☑️ Built community and connection with one another
☑️ Engaged in professional development around Raising Rigor and Bloom’s Taxonomy

The feedback from our Teaching Artists says it all:
💬 “I enjoy connecting with everyone and activating the brain with new ways of elevating my teaching. I also appreciate the updates!”
💬 “Profound and life-changing dialogue about seeing others’ dignity and building up my own.”
💬 “It has widened my perspective on teaching. I want to incorporate more visuals and Bloom’s Taxonomy into my lesson plans.”
💬 “Always awesome to remember, learn, listen, and think about what we do from peers, leaders, and the organization.”

We are so grateful for the passion, creativity, and commitment our Teaching Artists bring to San Diego’s students every day. ❤️🙏

Together, we are transforming learning by bringing the joy and richness of the arts into schools and communities.
